Yes, without a money/buy back mechanic it wouldn’t work well. They already have mobile respawn beacons so they would make an entire item obsolete (even more so than it is now).
Can't speak for everyone, but I think we like to watch videos where you and the boys are actually having fun with what you're playing. Doesn't matter if it's apex, cod, fortnite etc.

a gulag wouldn’t work in apex, only 60 players, and they can’t really add more players because the maps are made to support 60, they could probably get up to 80 max which still isn’t near enough for gulags

@@omaratia6026 the matches are low player count. Gulag extends that but is only effective with lots of ppl otherwise ykur left sitting in gulag till someone dies. It's pointless to have a human if ur stuck sitting in wait for another player. And with ring zones how do you decide the cut off as the maps are smaller and move quicker. There coukd be something added like ressurgance to apex that wound work.much better than a gulag

That’s only when you have legendary Armor ? I haven’t played in a few seasons though so I’m not sure if they changed it

they tried a one free respawn LTM it was great but they had some several bugs and Apex LTMs aren't just LTMs they are mostly idea testing. So they might bring it back to test it again when they figure out what was causing the bugs
I'm ok with LTM but permanent no thanks it would cheapen the 20 bomb badge and 4k damage badge.

Apex is where it is at!! Warzone is fun but the biggest down side is it doesn’t favor casual players. Since people can get their own class if you don’t play a lot you are a big disadvantage every game because you are just using ground loot when people create super classes.
I doubt I can speak for everyone, but no gulag IMO. It makes fights more intense, watching the counter click down on your teammates while in a stalemate team fight is, in my opinion, core to the movement and ability use is fights and gameplay
Yeah the game play is perfect the only issues in this game is the servers.
How about being able to craft a teammate’s banner if you have enough material after their banner respawn time is up?

They technically do have this on the map Olympus theres a boxing ring that forces you to put all guns away and you can only use your fist or heirloom if you have 1.
The start was hilarious with the Mozambique 😂 that does tend to happen
My thoughts for a "gulag"...
Once you die, you turn into a ghost with 2-3x speed, and a default gun. You have the whole duration of your banner to find another dead player "ghost", and if you kill them then you automatically respawn at your body or the nearest beacon to your teammates. Deactivate it with 5 teams left.
Im so happy that you guys switched to Apex. Could'nt watch Warzone. That Game is horrible imo. Glad to have a few YT Channels back to watch now :D

Love the fast pace of apex I knew you guys would be wild , also reccomend trying the hemlock on single fire was one of my favorites back when I was playing
If there was a gulag, it could be at that Fight Night arena then the 1v1 could be in the boxing ring
Also two tips! if you put your gun away and hit L2 it is a heartbeat sensor with seer, and if you shoot the robot that’s carrying the cargo bot, it will drop the cargo in one bullet with any gun in the game.
Man I've watched you from Fortnite to Warzone & I support you no matter what game you play but watching you play Apex Legends has to be one of the absolute most fun and entertaining times in my opinion! I truly enjoy this content, I was enticed all day seeing you on launch day for ranked & I hope to see a lot more Apex from you & the rest of the guys you play with 🙌
To be honest I've played the game since season 2 and I wouldn't recommend they do that, it would completely ruin the point of a 20 bomb because people would frequently be coming back therefore making it easy. It would also make most matches last until there is no zone left so I don't see it happening
Apex had an LTM called second chance that gave everyone a free respawn. You would come back in with your guns, a blue shield and some ammo, and then you redeploy right above where you died. It was LIT and games lasted longer and the kill records were nuts! We need more fun modes like that back!

I think a Gulag would throw it for a loop. Third partying is the name of the game. Imagine squad wiping, gutting third partied, then the squad you initially wiped comes back. It would be a never ending cycle. For those of us in high SBMM, it’s hard enough as it is.
You should make a vid for all the cod players that wanna switch over to apex but don’t know much about it and explain everything we need to know

The gulag would be tough. Gotta make the map bigger, and slow down the zones. I think if anything if you win gulag your teammates get your banner and you gotta respawn them. Love apex on your UA-cam man

I started playing apex again about a month ago, and I’m just glad it’s getting the love it deserves
So the gulag thing could work like this
Once you die, you normally get the respawn card thing then get rebooted by the beacon airplane thing. So after you fully die a second time, you go there and dual it out and who ever wins goes back in the game
Keep it up man this transition is it and I think the views will stay up for u man
the idea of a gulag feature sounds great the only problem would be if they were to implement that into ranked since it would give players that were beaten fairly a second chance so in conclusion it would work but only in public matches
What I’ve found to be the best loot management if nick or Tim ever read this 3 stacks of ammo (180+mag) for each gun. 2 stacks of health heals or 2 sets of syringes and a set of kits. 4 cells 4 batts. Rest nades. It’s obviously dependent on your bag level but my ammo and heals stay consistent just amount of nades change. I’m almost certain I got it from a noko vid and happened to work well for me

A drone should pick you up if you die, and it will takr you somewhere and your team needs to shoot you out. I think that would be cool, like a cage type of thing.
That would be cool and would kinda make sense lore wise i.e if you die you get transported and dropped to an arenas map to fight against someone (i'd like a 1v1 arena but they'll probably make it 3v3 just with randoms who also died) and you fight for one round and if you and your randoms win, the three of you are sent to skydive relatively close to your teamates (the reason it should be relatively close to teammates is that if you were to be spawned right above your teamates that would cause other teams to see you and immediately push the teamates on the ground as a duo or single while you are skydiving with nothing. At least if you spawn close, you'll have some time to divert and not draw to your team immediately). Would be fun but the respawn system doesnt really have a problem warranting change. Its simple and enough but would be a cool intergration with arenas if we had a gulag system.
Nick I'm so happy your giving apex a shot this game can be so aggressive which in my eyes fits your play style and plus the legends abilities shouldn't be new to you considering you played bo3 with all the specialists I can't wait to see what kind of player You become when you fully adapt!

They have a gulag in apex. It's called arenas. It's a separate game mode. It can stay there lmao. Also, the heat shields have their own inventory slot. Take them. You drop it like a Gibraltar bubble except instead of bullet protection it protects you from storm damage while you're inside of it.
About the gulag thing… Yeah it works in wz, but we don’t need that in apex, thanks. 😅 If you wanna get back in to a game after you die, then you need a good team that you can rely on. 😀

Love to see this! Just a tip, shoot the very top of the cargo bots and they will go down with just 1 round
I think were most games go wrong is when they try to be like other games and try to mimic what others are doing. The battle royal for Apex, although I don’t play much at all, feels slow and if they could find a way to pick up the pace of the game I think it will be able to reach its full potential. Also fixing the organization of inventory so that players and be more efficient would be great as well.

Honestly I don’t play apex cause it’s not really my type of game but I have been liking the apex vids because of the happy energy your giving off. You can definitely tell you’re having fun and that’s all that matters
Nick, if you don't like the weapon skin on your gun you can change it to your skin by clicking the paint brush on the top right of your gun in your inventory sometimes other peoples skins are bulky and it can help

They had 2nd chance mode a couple months ago. You got one free respawn and came back with your guns but it glitched after a few hours and they changed the mode. I’d love to see it return in S10.
Tips and tricks - turn off the feature that makes you close the death box while looting, makes for armor swapping faster and grabbing bats or ammo. Could be life or death
I lost it when they caught you lacking in the loot box had you throwing hands 🤣😂
At 12:08 if you shoot at the top of the ball when it’s in the color you want, you will hit the thing that holds the ball and it will fall the ground. Just an FYI 👍🏼

Not down for that. I think the banner retrieval is a better vibe. Makes you go back to clear a zone to get your teammate back. Forces teams to stick together and work together.
