I recognize this out of instinct, because I always do this instinctively. I tend to go for a back waistlock, a short back side slam and then finish with a rear-naked choke from back mount or back side control either by rolling into a backsitting position or by flattening him out and do the choke from there. A lot of times, I'll stick with what I know that works and will only try techniques or game plans I am less familiar or comfortable with if all else fails. This is how the triangle choke backmount story was born.
Love the video... As someone who trains BJJ I say the following with the utmost respect for both the art and those who teach and or train. Bernardos voice sounds like Kermit the Frog with a Brazilian accent.
That transition to the over-under beginning at 2:20 is brilliant!
Bro that rashguard
Bear Gribble looks like a bald spok
Stephan, your the man. You are funny as hell. You had me laughing when you called yourself an idiot for forgetting your GI.
Excellent! Love Bernardo's strategy and enthusiasm

Do you have this all written down? Matching specific takedowns and guards with guard passes and with sweeps?
Bernardo recently opened his own academy up, here is the link! bernardofariaacademy.com/
