Due to a couple of reasons (age, arthritis and a total lack of skill) I have one of these putters, from 12 to 15 feet and in it has been a revelation and hand on heart is saving me at least 3 shots a round,,, but there is a but, I’m really struggling with long putts or the Texas wedge scenario. Not for one moment am I blaming the putter, I know it’s me, but short term I’m having to carry two putters, not a problem from a bag issue as I only carry 11 clubs. And before everyone shouts “lessons” here is an issue, I’ve been to three local pga pro’s who very politely said they couldn’t really help as they had no experience with this style of putter. So loads of practice ahead, and for the moment I’m now rather irreverently known as PTP (Paul two putters).
