About the license plate thing: You might have seen how JP mounted his license plate on the side. Maybe you can stop by and let them do the same thing with your Supra. In my opinion, JP's solution looks perfect and in addition to that, you won't damage your paintwork.
Haha I made the mistake of doing this when I was driving a hire car in Germany. I'm so used to driving on the left hand side and having cars overtake on the right that I sat in the fast lane the whole time on the Autobahn. It didn't even occur to me until I was thinking about it literally about a year after the holiday 😂😂

You have two options, you can get a bracket that fixes to the grill or one that fixes to the splitter. I went for the one that mounts to the splitter, the mount point in under the car so no holes are drilled into the paint work.
I was thinking front tow hook plate mount. I believe one of the fake vents in the front has a tow hook cover, not sure which side. Platypus may make a Euro bracket.
Shmee150 there is a company called twist n fix on Instagram who did brackets for my S3 honeycomb grille. I’ve seen a couple of other similar things for the grilles

If a tow hook mount won't work, check out a local machine shop. They may be able to make a mount that can come from underneath the bumper cover. I have made a few for cars here in Canada. Ground clearance might be an issue but could be worth a look.
Hi Shmee, I have recently been using BMW navigation with BMW RTTI option and it is actually better than Waze. Reason behind that is that it has all waze input plus other more reliable sources of information. Use it with “Dynamic navigation” enabled in “toyota equivalent of iDrive” and you will see the benefits. Have fun with this great car!

This is what's great in Europe. Travel 400 miles (644km) and you visit 4 countries. In Australia (From Sydney, where I am), you'd be lucky to get out of the same state in the same distance travelled.

I noticed a difference between the US car and thew European car. On the US car the whole light is the reverse light. On this car it is just the outline which is the reverse light. I am assuming the rest of the bulbs will be used for a rear fog light in Europe.

The grey/silver looks awesome. It's genuinely the first time I've actually found the new Supra nice to look at. Especially with the satin finish, the contrast in the shadows shows off lines I never knew were there, I can actually see the resemblance to the old Supra in the front end for the first time. The power of the right paint is truly transformational.

The B modular engines that is in New BMWs are tested by Toyota, all parts that failed validation was sent back to Germany to the BMW-Toyota design and engineer team for re designing. The Z4 and Supra were designed and engineered together by both BMW and Toyota from the very start, it was BMW that reached out to Toyota during the reveal of the Toyota GT86 in Spain in 2012. Supra is not a re-badged Z4, so calling it a BMW is embarrassingly wrong when Toyota have had so much to do with the car.
The Gaming Norwegian blah blah blah. It’s a beemer dude, say what you want. Toyota slapped the Supra badge on a BMW and theew it out there. They didn’t even take the time to have a manual option. Toyota mailed it in on this one. You like it, good for you. I hope you buy one👍🏼 Just be sure to sell it before the warranty expires because like most BMW owners who are in the know that’s the time to get rid of them before the expensive maintenance costs start rolling in.
I was very lucky myself to have seen the first actual launch edition of the GR Supra in person at the local Toyota dealer in my area and had the chance to snap some clicks. I have to say it def does have mixed bags imho but it's a decent looking JDM to get around town and pout about. congrats Tim. Can't wait to see what the future holds in store for you with the car.
By the way Shmee... you do realise that the keep it below 4000 RPM is a load cods-wallop. You need to vary the revs constantly during the run in period and occasionally take it to red line to help the rings seat under max cylinder pressure.

The lack of dual-clutch is a travesty in all honesty, had a test drive last week and it's definitely noticeable with the automatic 8 speed - upshifts are slow. Also issues with the drop-off at higher RPM's. In all honesty I don't think it's worth the punt at 54k, especially vs. the Cayman, which is objectively the better car all-around.

I've not really been very fond of the new Supra styling, but I must say in these specs and color combination, this is a sweet little ride. Seeing it by the red, hard to believe they are the same vehicle for this steel color fits the body styling perfectly and looks bad ass. Congratulations.
So, you are reluctant to put holes in your bumper. Something to consider: Have a 3D printed body molded plate holder made. As long as it looks nice, holes are ok.
I personally think the front number plate looks fine like this, drilling the holes for the plate is quite a choice if you really can’t take how it looks with the sticker

If the Supra is using the bmw nav, then it already has google maps, and google own waze, which is what powers the bmw RTTI (real time traffic information), so you’re just missing the obstacles/police info

Could you make a mount that attaches under the bumper nose? back in 2000 I had a new mx5 and didn't want to drill the bumper, so put reflective lettering on top of the nose, but the cops didn't like it, even though it was the same font and reflective.

Did you enjoy your time there on work experience?. If you get a chance apply for a job there, dealership's can be the best place to work. I worked at our local Holden dealer here in South Australia till it closed in mid 2011, i had 15 year's total in detailing , service advisor and just started doing a bit in spare parts. I would do it all again if I had the chance... never been another work place like it.

They always fill up your tank and clean your car really good here in USA when you purchased a car from reputable dealers.

Could you make a mount that attaches under the bumper nose? back in 2000 I had a new mx5 and didn't want to drill the bumper, so put reflective lettering on top of the nose, but the cops didn't like it, even though it was the same font and reflective.

Like if dealers in Europe are franchises or corporate, do you negotiate in Europe, do dealers charge over MSRP for highly desirable cars, do used normal cars hold their value, etc. thanks

If you get a chance apply for a job there, dealership's can be the best place to work.
I worked at our local Holden dealer here in South Australia till it closed in mid 2011, i had 15 year's total in detailing , service advisor and just started doing a bit in spare parts.
I would do it all again if I had the chance... never been another work place like it.

This is a good looking car. I don’t like our US spec launch editions. But there is something about this car that actually looks great. And I’m the biggest critic of this car, coming from the Mark iV Supra. I was just getting out of high school when the Mark iV car came out.
Hi Tim, I just did a conversion between 102 ton and octane , and it said 97 octane which is the usual high for America is just as good if not higher grade then 102 Ron
