Thanks for your service to the community Joe and thanks for sharing your work and passion for the best in audio.
Thank you for your kind words !!! Much appreciated.
Joe
Was wondering where the top was.. this is it.
Amazing
Thank you !!
joe
This is too cool. I remember meeting Joe and his lovely wife a few years back at the Newport Beach show. I was invited out to dinner by our mutual friend Jeffrey at HWS and they had accompanied him out for the show. They couldn't have been more gracious and affable. Truly wonderful people. Thanks for making this video, Steve!
Thanks for your kind comments. I miss the shows, and the nice people we have met over the years. This virus has caused everyone much grief.
This guy's version of not being rich is way different than my version of not being rich.
@33Ddg209Ret7 If he was a beat cop, he was crooked.
He said he wasn't rich. He didn't say he was poor.
Big fan of your work ! Thank you for making these videos. Horns for life ! ✌
Amen !!!
Joe
A man who knows how to live.
brady alex yeah I have no idea how... would love to know... a pension does NOT cover this...
@@cls63amgwagon34 He's been building the system for many years. Come to think about it, considering DIY aspect of it, it's not very pricey. Some people like cars, other, stereos.
@brady alex Dirty cop?
Steve, thanks for accepting Joe's offer to visit his place. That turned out to be a great video. Thats was so interesting. I'm sure there's more stuff we could learn from him.
F*** me. Joe is living my dream and his own. I wish to convey my complete and utmost respect to Joe. He has made my thoughts of building a few bits and pieces of HiFi dwindle to nothing. I love his skills and modesty that comes with everything. JOE YOU ROCK.
Joe is the epitomy of self-taught, do-it-yourself enthusiasts and hobbyists! Even though he is not a NASA scientists or speaker designer engineer, he obviously learned all this and figured it out, presumably by himself! Mega respects go out to him for sure! Nice comment.
Thank you for you kind comments. I did a lot of listening, asked lots of questions, did lots of research, and lucky to have met the right people for guidance. You have to add your time and skills.
Joe
Thank you for you kind comments.
Joe
How can you not love this guys passion and making the time and effort to do something about it!
Thank you for your kind comments.
joe
Wow.
Got something to aim for now. :)
Just started out with RP-600Ms and a NAD C316BEE plus
an ugrade kit from GR Research including new crossover and damping material.
Glad you enjoyed the video. There is always something new to learn.
Joe
Incredible system! Thanks for sharing Joe.
Unbelievable! And Joe is in the lead, by a mile!
That was amazing. Really appreciate the run through. I’ve seen those systems but never heard a breakdown of what they are. Full wow.
It must sound incredible.
Thank you for your kind comments !!!!
Joe
What About all the piles of cds, aren't they going to rattle all over when the bass is loud?
The cd's at the other of the room sometimes fall out of the shelves but the cd's up front never move or rattle.
Joe
Thanks for the answer Joe, I think you have an excellent sound system and i would love to listen to it. You are an inspiration to me, one day I will have a custom setup like yours to play all kinds of music and make my neighbors very happy as well
Amazing system Joe. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the inspiration!
One word: Wow!
That's three words Michael
Would've been one if you just said wow.
This is amazing!!! that was a very nice speaker job. ...when you love something, you always end doing it yourself, the joy is not the finish project, is all the process! i almost sense this good man`s satisfaction.
nice video.
Thanks for sharing.
Your logic is spot on. Thanks for your kind words.
Joe
I'd like to comment but man words can't describe this system
Nope every detail , amazing really,💯👍
Glad you appreciate all the work, it was definately worth it !!
Joe
The sound proofing of the walls is incredible. The room acoustics is amazing also.
Thank you for you nice comments.
This guy is a legend. I would pay for plane tickets to hear these monsters.
No money necessary. If you make it to Greenpoint, Brooklyn you would be welcome for a listen.
Joe
I LOVE Joe... What an amazing and talented guy.!!!
Thank you for your king comments !!! Much appreciated.
Joe
Steve and Joe, you've broke the comment section, and our minds with this one!
Thank you for your kind words. Peace.
Joe
Loved it!!! Thx Joe and Steve!!!
It would be interesting to know about some of Joe's favorite music and about the detail, imaging, sound stage, etc. he achieves. Just imagine Miles or Frank pouring out of that system. Audio Nirvana.
I want to know too !
Just WOW Steve! This is probably your best video yet! Joe is a shining example of an audiophile's unique dedication and passion to his 'hobby'! I wouldn't be surprised if he is also an avid Ham Radio (Amateur Radio) enthusiast and tinkerer, given those presumably great 'homebrew' speakers! I hope to god that there will be a forthcoming video where we at least attempt to hear them (even with the limitations of UA-cam and our PC speakers, headphones, etc.)! Thank you Joe and Steve.
You nice comments are much appreciated !!!
Joe
This guy is insane! What's he on! - and where can can you get it!
reminds me of my neighbors wife. very loud, 86 years old, still drives.
Replace those caps Joe! Ha! Everything you did here is pretty awesome. I'm a diy guy - always building stuff. Love what you do. Happiness is in the process.
