Princess is a single mom by day and a prostitute by night. A volatile cop, Tom Walsh uses her to trap a sadistic pimp named Ramrod, who murdered one of her friends. But when Ramrod escapes police custody, Princess is in grave danger. No matter which way she turns, Ramrod is coming for her. Walsh and the entire police force are out looking to catch him. Tonight, the neon slime will be on full display and the city of Los Angeles will explode with furious vengeance and violence!
Actor Wings Hauser, who plays the villain Ramrod, sings the vocal track on the song "Neon Slime" featured over the opening and closing titles.
In preparing for the role of Vice Squad Officer Tom Walsh, Gary Swanson spent ten weeks researching the background of Vice Squad officers.
To play Princess, Season Hubley spent nights researching the lives of prostitutes and the locations they frequented.
When this movie was being made, lead actress Season Hubley and Kurt Russell were getting a divorce.
When this movie was submitted for classification in the United Kingdom to the British Board of Film Classification, the board requested that six minutes from this picture be deleted for this to garner an 'X' Classification.

Another good review from Matt's Movie Mania. I am a big fan of scream/shout! Factory releases. I have several of their releases. They consistently put out great content with beautiful bluray transfers and tons of special features that any horrorphile can enjoy combing through. Vice squad is on the top of my list to buy in the next few months, and it being a scream factory release makes me want it even more. Awesome review. Can't wait to check this one out. I can't believe I haven't seen this one (at least I don't think I have). Either way, it's a must own for any collection and it will have a happy home in mine.
