Wow, my first visual tour with the Bowery Boys. I love the podcast and never imagined seeing you guys. Your presentation is professional, interesting, educational and entertaining. As a west coast individual, I’m enamored with New York’s rich history. Thank you for posting. I look forward to booking a tour. Thanks for taking so much time and care producing impeccable content.
I love watching the historical videos of New York. I came to New York City in the summer of 1959. I lived in Brooklyn for over 65 years. I am a Brooklynite.
I'm from the Bronx NY we could relate lower eastside and love my new york city the city of our route . Proud to be a new yorker . I moved away from new york but you can't take away from new york in me LoL . Long live the big apple that never sleep .
I've been listening to the podcast for years. I love it always! I just got back from NYC after playing tour guide to 4 NYC virgins. Virgins no more! Thank you for all the great information and entertainment.
The Tenement Museum on the LES used to have a Blimpies sandwich shop in the 70s. That was the first place I worked in my life and now it's a museum. I got paid 75 dollars a week. I lived on Eldridge Street.
500,000 people living in this area in 1900's must have been high stress, anxiety, crime, gangs , and filthy run down tenements. Know wonder urban renewal tore a lot of the worst down and replaced with updated apartments

this is an awesome video. I have listened to nearly every single Bowery boys episode. I feel like i know greg and tom personally haha. Sach develops an uncanny ability to sing, after having his tonsils removed, and Slip convinces Louie to turn his sweet shop into a night club, The Bowery Palace, after unsuccessfully trying to get Sach a singing job at a neighboring club, The Rio Cabana.
