make sure you see GNR live, they were absolutely great live at that time and they had amazing backup singers. Tokyo, Paris Hammer concerts. “Civil War” Paris, ‘Don't Cry’ Tokyo, ‘Rocket Queen’ Tokyo, an absolutely awesome song.
Became friends with Slash on their first BIG show in Dallas, opening for INXS at Texas Stadium. He is so kind, super intelligent and a great person to know. No ego whatsoever. ☮️❤️😎🎼
I wasn't a GNR fan until I heard this song when I went to see Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I went out and bought the single the next day and that's when my journey into harder rock music began.
My kindred soul!!! That's my favorite GN'R song too! I used to sing it all the time when I was 9 years old and had no idea what I was singing about, lol! I was born in Oct 1979 so when Appetite for Destruction came out I was 9 years old.... Only kid in my school that listened to GNR, Quiet Riot, etc. My first concert was in summer 1989 and it was Tesla as the opener and Poison as the headliner because my dad wouldn't let me listen to GNR, that was only allowed at Mom's house! 😂
I have to say, the late 80s and early 90s was the BEST era for music. We had all the classic stadium cheese of the 1980s with the awesomeness that was Grunge.
Even those of us born young enough for this to be our era, didn’t even realise how great it was. Go look up the albums that came out within a month or two of Use Your Illusion(s)….it’s nuts.
This was an epic time of my life. I love the terminator whole thing (as soon as smart phones became a thing i was like this is skynet straight up) & i was hanging about with a girl i went to school with & her much older sister. We would have this cranked up, driving around doing nothing. The music out was all so good. I had just started going to gigs so I was like 13/14. Ah it was a simple time
You cannot be in the crowd at a G 'n R concert and be bored - if you are, you're likely already surrounded by paramedics trying find a sign of life....
My personal memory regarding Terminator 2. It came out around my 16th bday so I got to see it on my bday. I was a big Arnold fan at the time. My best friend who had moved away came to visit, so she and my mother went with me. During the opening credits, probably when his name came up, a man yelled "Ar-nold!" lol. I got a t-shirt with Terminator 2 on it also, should still have it somewhere.
I would love to see ur reaction to either Rocket Queen Live in Tokyo 92 or the Freddie Mercury tribute Knockin on Heavens Door. Both are incredible live performances
Since you're a rapper, you should react to Body Count (Ice-T's band), sometime - if you haven't heard them already. You should also check out the Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry movie "The Dead Pool". A young Jim Carrey briefly plays a drug-addicted rockstar, doing a music video for "Welcome To The Jungle". Guns has cameos in it, too.
ua-cam.com/video/QEI-Yby8ijM/v-deo.htmlsi=qePc7IJtUSXNPRr5 Cliff, my man, this is a must to do next! Guns n Roses "get in the ring". The first true rock diss song. And its an absolute banger!!!
This guy couldn't give a shit less about the song. He's just emersed in the visuals and the Terminator stuff. No like. No subscribe. Not my kind of "reaction". Here's some engagement, though. Take care, bud.
Fun fact, Arnie is a big fan of G n R and asked for them to have a song in the movie and had them over for dinner.
One of the greates film soundtrack ever! 🖤😎🤘
GNR .. i used to love her.. Patience .. And knockin on heaven door👍👍

This song was in the background during the "John Conner being a hooligan" scenes.
Yeah, I have to watch T2 tonight now that he reacted to this.
Please react to guns n roses Civil War. The lyrics are quite meaningful.

This song starts when John Connor and his friend are working on his motorcycle in the garage then jump on it and take off.

I also asked for the single of this song on cassette and remember playing it when we ate bday cake.
John and his friend is playing it on a boombox when they take off on John’s dirt bike in the movie

Thats right Kiddies. T2 was over 30 years ago. Bloody Hell. If you ever want to feel old, or want a negativity top up. Take ride on the Tube.
"Night Train."

Axl is a vocal prodigy. Like two or three lead singers in one
Please check out “Civil War”. The music is great, but the lyrics are fantastic. Maybe check a lyric video.
I recomend GnR 'It's so Easy' and 'Rocket queen'.
👍🏽😜👍🏽😜👵🏼Gmaw
Fun fact--Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) was the long time girlfriend, then briefly married the director of Terminator, James Cameron.

AC/DC - Big Gun
Would you react to: Guns n Roses - Used to Love Her ?
But listen to all appetite album
DON`T WATCH TERMINATOR 2 UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN TERMINATOR 1 !!!!!!!! :D
The 70s were good/ok - not enough volume of material. But the 80s and 90s, the best times in HISTORY
Like when you said you were born in the wrong era. Try 'Get in the Ring' to experience diss tracks in the rock genre.
