E.g. A Volkswagen Polo driving at rallycross WRX needs 1,9 seconds for 0-100 km/h, a Formula 1 car needs 2,4 seconds. You can also (kind of) see it at the start of this race (I know that this is just chill driving, but still). So, it's not a big difference, but apart from that amazing to watch (live)...

Everyone against your comment because they believe they're a professional driver, he most certainly had the opening to continue. If you guys knew the rules of F1 you'd realize that car can not take any damage, even in an event like this, it'll effect them during the season. If Ken hit that car, it would have been a massive hit for Mercedes. They're goal was to put on a show but their top priority was making sure that car comes out just as it came in.
