Next on watchlist, and the doll/figure definitely got that Tool music video inspiration 😅🤘🏼Remarks along with yours were mostly positive. And dig the concept which you rarely see.
It's easily the most unique horror movie of the year!
I watched this the other night and haven't stopped thinking about it, easily my favourite horror of the year so far!

I really like Stopmotion because, one, I'm a huge fan the animation (Ray Harryhausen Rules) and this was an effective way to use this form in order to show Ella's descent.

I definitely thought of May but only due to the story, there are some elements in common like the isolated protagonist talking to an imaginary friend and eventually incorporating parts of people into their "dolls", the love interest being a dick, things like that

The stopmotion doll looks more like the "are you pooping" character, to me anyway. 😅

Thanks for the review! I found it a little slow and the story a little simple, but it is creative and we need more creativity in horror these days.

Stop motion animation I have had my far share of that all it takes is a lot of time and a lot of patience. Yeah dose have Puppet Master vibe.
It seems like an intense art form...I definitely couldn't do it, but man do I appreciate it 😂
