Dude look at what Cameron did with Alita, or how about the VFX in the upcoming Avatar? If They Can make Iron Man’s armor look epic in the MCU then they can handle Megaman, Alita is harder to pull off because it’s Anime/ Manga, and she had huge eyes that were like the uncanny valley, for a Manga her eyes were larger than most anime characters, even Chiren in the manga had slanted small narrow eyes, they made Alita’s big cause she’s a Martian cyborg from the 26th Century
I really hope that they get the feeling of mega man as a character right. I love his compassion in the Archie comics, he always feels bad for every robot he defeats. I just need this to not be a laughing stock. I don’t want the film to end up being bad and reflect on the franchise negatively (meaning that new viewers seeing the film think that the mega man franchise is also bad). I wish the best of luck to the writers and really hope that they take a minute to look into the source material and make something wonderful.

Christopher Nolan: his Batman series was dark, and his movies have a dark tone, especially Inception, and Interstellar, he’s good at balancing action with plot!
Robert Rodriguez: Even though he’s attached to Alita, he really brought that Manga character to life, and the VFX team he brought in ( WETA) was amazing, Robert was ahead of the time just like James Cameron with VFX and Director creativity, he did great with Spy Kids. I could see him making that Reploids feel lifelike since the X series is about Artificial Intelligence in the 22nd Century.
Travis Knight: has some experience with cybernetic beings already since he directed “Bumblebee” which I loved his G1 designs better than Michael Bay’s Alienated versions, I think Travis Knight could do Megaman X justice, well so far anyone I named could, I’ve always loved the plot of the X series better, it would be cool to see X, Zero, and Sigma in live action!

3:30 The newest Mega Man cartoon writers claimed they did look at the source material closely and wanted to please fans and new fans, and then ended up having a terrible picture of what makes Mega Man so great. I hope someday there is a film writer who actually cares about during his research about why this series is so important to fans and what makes it Mega Man. For starters, it's a Japanese series, so maybe stop looking at through a purely American, Hollywood action-thriller perspective. Heck, even the Sonic movie seems to capture more of the spirit of Sonic, especially since I'm more convinced they care about making it right with the recent changes.
This movie doesn't have to be spectacular, but I just want it to at least feel like Mega Man rather than what I'm afraid they will do (buff, robocop like, too robotic Mega "Man").
@360 Overdrive Just letting you know, the image in the video is just a placeholder; it has nothing to do with the actual live action film which we have no images of.
Live action COULD work for Mega Man if they relay heavily on CGI to bring Mega Man and the rest of the Robot Masters to life (either as fully CGI characters like in the Sonic movie or to augment the actor like in Alita). Anyway, for the movie to actually work the people behind the scenes need two things: Talent and Passion. Talent is self evident, but they really need to be passionate about the character and the universe of Mega Man. They need to understand what makes Mega Man work as a concept, and remain true to the themes and message that is core to Mega Man's story.
As for the RiCO standie... I WANT ONE!

There genuinely gonna have hard time it there going for the live action route everyone clearly would prefer a animated adaptation since that fits the style the best and would be more easier to gain unique interest and would in general be received well the style and format of the story and characters are gonna need to heavily be look after for

American live action adaptations tend to stray away from the source material.
Probably they'll change the personality, backstory, and somehow add romance in it.

Since Chernin Entertainment has it's first look with Netflix deal after the parts away prematurely (due to no longer trust after Underwater released), I have mixed feelings. I'm hoping it the next Sonic the Hedgehog and Detective Pikachu treatment, but also may cause a screw up for the adaptations they made. Mostly likely going for the former option, if they seen both movies and have the faithful adaptation based on a video game.
One thing I’m frightened about this movie is seeing the mega dong. Hoping they threw in some layers underneath or something

@@ligtningdog6399 did you ever hear of the metroid like megaman remake that got cancel? looking back that's what I want. there was some concept art making him look more robotic with a more mature oriented audience in mind and I don't mean rated R, just more serious.

Live-action is a horrible idea for MegaMan. CGI like Astro Boy would’ve been perfect.
live action megaman will only work if they make it ala ironman esque armor type. with a face peeking out and a visor. make it a little gritty. no kid stuff because i hate seeing kids as heroes. they dont work too well and unbelievable. the acting is not very convicing. and i hate hero kids.
Jan Raymond Julian Is Megaman X portrayed as a teenager or young adult around 17/18 because I played Maverick Hunter X on hard and the dialogue is different when confronting Sigma, and X is full of anger towards Sigma, and he will never forgive him for what he’s done to the world, yeah an X series live action needs armor like Iron Man

The last thing anybody wants us to Disney to get their hands on a Mega Man license they will tone it down until it's non-existent 00 Mega Man Zero can't shoot this guy or can slice this guy or Mega Man or zero cannot punch this guy or kick this guy in the balls or Iris cannot slap this dude and Judo flip this dude you just have to be a Damsel in Distress screw that. Nobody wants Disney hands on his franchise not even mean because they destroy every franchise to get the hands on.
