Streamers who are affiliated or partnered with Twitch can now remove Founders Badge from certain recipients.
Be mindful who you revoke the Founders Badges, because, as Twitch mentioned on the help forums, "Revoking is irreversible, prevents the user from earning future Founders Badges, and passes the Founders Badge along to the next eligible viewer (eg. 11th viewer for Affiliates, or 26th person for Partners). If you don’t have anyone eligible, you’ll have a new slot free." help.twitch.tv...
Use this tool wisely.
Had no idea twitch told you who your founders are let alone change them. This is awesome!
Changing who can have the Founders Badge was an update that was made today, Friday, July 29th by Twitch.

I hope this helps. Twitch Support mentioned on Twitter, "Sorry for the poorly worded first answer. To clarify, a notification is sent only if a user is an initial founder to a channel. Reassigning the badge doesn't trigger notifications for either the revoked founder or new founder. You can learn more below!"

Is it possible to take away the Founders Badge from active subscribers? There are users that are currently subscribed but never show up on stream...
I hope this helps. There's a 'Note' under one of the articles in Twitch Help website and it mentions this, "Can I remove Founders Badge recipients? Note: A Founders badge cannot be revoked from a user if the Founder is still subscribed to your channel, and is not blocked or chat banned in your channel.
