I own a bunch of moving heads but my favorite of all time is the Intimidator Spot 260. It really checks off everything on my list. It’s very powerful for its size. Has lots of “pro” features. And with the Chauvet carrying case (it holds two lights) it is very easy to transport which is very important to me. I hardly ever take out my larger moving heads. These are a game changer.
@@IceTeaMan022 That's a good question. I also own the ADJ focus spot 4Z's. They have a zoom but it doesn't make enough of a difference to me. What I do miss is a rotating prism. The 260's have a prism but it doesn't rotate. Not a deal breaker but it is something I miss. For the size and output, I think the 260's are a great light. And I would buy the Chauvet Hard/Soft case for them. Makes transporting them so easy.
@@croissantproductions 350 are far superior to any of those lights other than the 360, which doesn’t have many new features as opposed to the 350. Not to mention that 350 are way better value (in todays market). I picked up 4 350’s 2 years ago for £800 and they were hardly used. Bargain.
@@JoshWaller I’d say the 260 is better than the 350. It doesn’t have a rotating prism but it has everything else plus more and it’s smaller brighter, faster, newer, and will definitely last longer than an old 350.
@@croissantproductions I’d disagree. Mine were purchased in 2016 and only have around 80 hours on the bulbs (they’re meant to last around 50k I believe). The rotating pryzm is a really nice effect with custom gobos and was the make or break for me tbh. Yes the 260’s are smaller, but overall I think the 350’s are a much better fixture, especially for what I use them for, and they look great.
All my lights are Chauvet and I love them, always more reliable than similar priced competition, but what's going on in the UK - pretty much everything 110, 160, 260 is out of stock except a few choice movers / beams ? - Brexit or long term problems?
Why is that the master slave mode is not.working in a pair of spots 160 I just bought. Do you think is the quality of the dmx I am using. Those are some cheap ones I got from amazon, but those cables make the work with other small wash lights I have. Please give me your thoughts.
I'm not very Impressed with the Intimidator Scan 110's .they need improvement specifically with the Red being far too dim and the Mirrors, which reflect off of the scanner body and block out the Beam... and CHAUVET should definitely release a small moving head and scanner with Rotating gobo's,re-release the Intimidator Barrel scanner AND Create a mini barrel scanner. just some Long time Chauvet DJ fan suggestions.
3 months late here.. but look at the Intimidator Scan 305 and its brother the Intimidator Barrel 305. 60w LED's in both. The Scan is flat where as the Barrel is obviously a barrel. They've been discontinued now (Scan 2020, Barrel 2017), but you should be able to find them used on eBay or somewhere else.
@@andrewbruton6233 yeah. i'm disappointed with the smaller intimidator 110 scanner. but i own two of the 305's now and i love em. i actually have to use the dimmer on my obey 40 because they're so bright.
Very nice! I hope to maybe have one some day!

I was thinking about getting some 260s. Do you miss the motorized zoom in the larger heads?

I have the 350’s. Still love them over any of the newer lights :)
Why? The newer lights are better in every single way

I just noticed that a while back i sent you guys a moving head fixture for you to fix and it came back broken from the focus ring. 🤬🤬🤬
Very nice......but what's the price tag like 😬
Please take the time to post links to the products yall talk about.

should've continued up the line all the way up to the hybrid 140's
Do these lights only work with boards ?
I’d hit up that 110 cuz it’s cheapest and I’m using it mainly with DMX
I have the 110 and it’s amazing light
Please make the intimidator 260 in white. I’d buy 6 now
Haha nothing worse than trying to find white fixtures. I struggled for ages to find a Centre effect. Ended up spraying one.
Luckily the new 260X is available in white!
sir. what a price 1st.position
I want. plz tell me price
No mechanical zoom on the 360X... lame.
