Wyn, you are a winner! Your video was so informative...descriptions, word choices, word pictures, definitions, pacing, seeing each layer build the painting, encouragement!!! All of it was just excellent. You have a gift for teaching. So glad I found you and looking forward to more inspiration from you.
Thank you so much Kate! I am glad you found me as well! I am excited to create more content for you and all the watercolor enthusiasts out there! Stay tuned!
Inspiring, thank you Would you say what did you mount the large Arches paper on? I long to make-a large painting but never have done it. Donn't know what to do to make it stable.
Just discovered your channel! First video. I see you don’t wet your paper first. Also the glazing (unfamiliar) - you just have water on your brush- no presetting? and dry brushing - all interested- thanks.
How big of a paper or how many papers of this size can I paint (the entire paper) with ONE half pan watercolor? I can only buy the paint I want for my background in wc, it doesnt exist in Acrylic.. so I need to know how many pans I need to buy to cover 60x80cm canvas! And i have Googled in different ways I only got ONE persons Guess, 10 paper of the size 9x12 inches, but she just guessed. I need to buy handmade from another country so I dont wanna buy 1-2 and then i need 2-3 or more that would be so bad. With all the fees 😅 i really hope you can help me. If u dont know then you have an Idea for your next video i am SURE many people Will need to visa your video, it will be the only one on the internet!! Woohoo lol please help 🙏
What types of landscapes do you like paint?
I rarely paint landscapes but I would go for any landscape with flowers 🌸 I love sunset landscapes too

Hi Wyn! I am getting ready to paint a watercolor the same size! First time going this large. What do you use as your mount for the paper?
Inspiring, thank you Would you say what did you mount the large Arches paper on? I long to make-a large painting but never have done it. Donn't know what to do to make it stable.
Thank you! I have used firm cardboard, gator board, foam core, wood and masonite. It just depends what you want to go with! Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for watching! When you don’t wet your paper first it’s called dry brushing. Yes let the paint dry in the paper and then go over it👍🏻
Love this
Landscapes with water, sunsets, sunrise, mountains in distance, how many types are there?
You mean how many types of landscapes are there? I believe the big 3 are cityscapes, oceanscapes, and landscapes.
You're using opera rose, a marginally impermanent pigment, on a large painting? Try quinacridone magenta.
No sound?
My sound is fine.
Sound works fine
Is the whole painting wet on dry?
Yes
@@artericson thank you

The secrets to printing big? This could be any size.
You sound like Tom Cruise !
Haha thank you!
Too much fussing on road.
Art is subjective.
Watercolor is a process for sure. Sometimes multiple layers need to be applied. Thanks for watching!
