Wow man !
I'd hug you if I could. Mine just went black on part of the screen after I closed/restarted an electrical breaker.
I had 1/3 of the screen on the left side completely black. I tried your 1st method (special combination reboot) ... Worked like a charm.

It was really confusing because when I had UA-cam open, when I hovered over a video, only the video would go black. It worked, though, so thank you!

Fuck that I tried every thing including this key combination. Hard reset, system reset The flicker will not go away. Im throwing mine away. But before I do im going to kick the screen in. I want to watch it suffer.
