I've always been active and athletic but have never been flexible. Now that I'm getting older, the lack of flexibility is really affecting my ability to be active while avoiding injury. This channel just popped up on my suggested videos and I'm so grateful it did. Fantastic!

I like this stretch class. Had to modify a bit due to carpel tunnel surgery a few days ago. Did what I could during this class, along with the weight loss walking class……modified a bit, but glad I was able to complete both classes!! 😊
Thank you so much. I was in begginer pilates before and then injured my shoulder and quit for a while. Oh my, I've been going to an osteopath for a while and finally figured out stretching is what I need. My arms and shoulders are so tight, this was such a blessing. The stretch with the legs laying on the floor at the side even stretch my tight front arms.
I do these workouts before I go to bed. They help me relax so I can get to sleep. Since I am an insomniac I finish at about 6 am. Please keep these videos coming I love them. My balance is really bad so when it comes to standing I have to hang on to something for now but I look forward to the day when I no longer have to If you know of any exercises or well anything that could help I would love to know. Also if you have anything that would help strengthen the calf muscles that would be wonderful Thank you so much for what you do! Lisa
Glad the workout are helpful Lisa! I would recommend my barre videos. They incorporate lots of balance and calf exercises. Also, I have several videos that are balance and strength and we use a chair for support.

Thank you for offering these senior friendly workouts. I had total knee replacement surgery 3 months ago it is now time to gently get my body moving... I was able to keep up and did all 3 stages. Unfortunately, I can't do floor work outs that use the knees, so maybe if you could add a suggested alternative for those of us who can not get on their knees, that would be wonderful.
Great job getting those knees moving again Ruth! I have so many videos that are all standing and don't have any floor work. I'll continue to offer both floor and non floor work on my videos. It's too difficult to film and edit alternatives, so I'll just continue to do separate videos.
Hi Lauren. This stretch and mat routine was just right for me. I started my routine today with trying to do one of your other videos (gentle pilates / yoga routines on the mat; video # 10) I was a failure at this! I am not very flexible but, rather than give up, I did this gentle pilates stretch and mat routine. It was great! I could do the routine and my joints liked it. 🙃 As always thank you for all that you do.
Hi Lauren, thanks for this wonderful class! I had thyroid surgery last week and felt so stiff and rigid afterwards. I just did this class and it helped me so much - it's feels good to be back again and resume my exercise regime with you.
I like and find it very important how virtually every stretch is performed in a sequence of other moves. Hard to explain. Instead of just turning right, you’ll move different parts of your body to get to the position instead of just one swooping motion. Unsure what it’s called but it works. Thanks!!

Thank you so much for your videos. I put my mom (she is 80 yo) to watch and follow your exercises. Normally I pause after each different movement and increase the number of repetitions until she learns it. If I don't do it, when she finally understands what she needs to do, you are 3 movements ahead of her. She cusses a lot at the TV... I will try this new video to see if she complains less

I really enjoyed this stretch. 💖 Those seated stretches at the end were so good on the shoulders. They feel really loose now, but when I was doing them it was intense. Good stuff. I did this in the afternoon. 😉
One of my New Year’s resolution was to stretch more and this was a great video. It’s not joke, really gets you to stretch! I’m young but I notice that in my 30s I’m not as flexible so this is a great morning stretch.
Lauren, I'm 73 and just a beginner. Love all your daily videos, and the variety they offer. Having a bit of difficulty keeping my spine straight, is that because my core muscles aren't strong?
Thanks Kathy! Building core strength will help with a curved spine as well overall good posture (think shoulders down and back) I have some posture videos as well as upper body mobility videos that may be helpful :)
