I watched the game live. Everyone was convinced it was a loss pretty much straight away
It was inexcusable for the M103 teammate to camp at the back of the map. I can excuse the Somua SM because he was 2 tiers lower than the top tier tanks in the battle. His decent armor would be like paper against tier 9 and 10 tanks, plus being an autoloader, playing 2nd line is sometimes the best way to play.
But the M103 had no excuse. As a middle tier heavy with great DPM, good turret armor, and gun depression, he should have played frontline. Instead he played at the very back, survived the whole battle, and still only scored 400 damage in the entire battle.
Unless you are completely losing the game you should still play at the front with the Somua. Same goes for the Tortoise
So I agree that the M103 should be at the ridge along QB but calling anything but the gun good on the M103 is a lie. There is a reason it's one of the worst Tier 9 tanks right now.
@@Silith13 agree the turret is really shit tier and you loose a lot of health fast.
Tbh the M103 turret is literally the weak point of that tank. The hull is decent but the turret has a HUGE weakpoint that u can't miss.

My record from like 3 years ago staying with me even though I hadn’t touched the game since, 11672, WZ 111 5A, back then that was the Meta.

@@willdenoble1898 It's really not. There's a reason you don't see it in random, ranked or cw. Everyone using 277s. And not even that is "meta". The meta is the chieftain and 279e and the list ends here. The rest of the tanks which get picked are not meta either.

The whole point of the Mark of Excellence it to show allies/enemies that you know what you're doing and you know how to play your tank. But I guess they ignored the THREE marks QB has on his 60TP
Players don't really look for marks..
People just don't care. You can have 3 MoE on the tank you're using, do the whole 15k damage and take out every single enemy tank and people will shit on you for not playing their style.
@@violetstetpedder-4824 most of the time not yes. but i know once that my own teammate noticed. so i was last tank alive in my a43 with 2 gun marks and was fighting against 2 tanks. and i was trying to go around the city on other side to maybe get surprise moment and kill one tank. and while i was driving someone called me a noob and i should kill myself and then someone else said "he has 2 marks of excellence, so he must not be an idiot". sadly i could only kill the tiger but the su130pm got me
@@matufujiwara7493 Sure, once you are dead, but at that point you can't really influence the battle.
Last I played, you could turn off the marks of excellence.
I'm an average player and my highest total is 10.2K. And then I see my icon has more games and skill then me and still he awaits for 10K. Makes me feel proud, but also sorry for QB. I hope you will get it soon QB, good luck
Just to rub it in for ya QB, my account was and is still a 48% win rate, but I actually got 10,000+ twice in the Foch B 😂😂
actually i dont think the winrate really represents skill as much as the average dmg etc does. Wr is really team dependant lots of times sadly… Congrats on your insane games!
@@Hermelin.G1 I disagree with you. I think winrate is the main factor to take account for, then comes avg dmg. Main TD players can reach high avg dmg/game by playing defensively while not being able to make optimal plays to win the game.

High damage and low winrate is a sign of a player that’s doesn’t know when to push up and make a difference when it’s required. They have the high average damage, because they fall back to early and manage to farm those extra few shots every game by being the last tank to die on the loosing team. A good player will know when to make the plays that win the game.
@@playwme3 you are correct. But when you get steamrolled 15/2 it in my opinions is not really a loss that should count for yourself. If you loose a game because your heavies camp at the back, lights suicide spot and meds push alone, is it really your fault? Thats what i meant with wr being sketchy for a good representation of skill… Your argument is true nonetheless =)

My record is 9987 in my Jagdpanzer E 100.
Could've broken 10k, but I misplayed by not turning around fast enough at the end, and got taken out by their FV4005.
The pain was real.
Love QB, taught me so much about playing this game. I didn’t know how to side scrape or work a ridge line very well before I began watching him

Gads, it's like they wanted you to get a high damage record. That was crazy with the whole team on the back line.
Pretty cool that it was in a good ole tech tree heavy and one effected a lot by the HE changes.
I love my 60 TP. It’s an amazing heavy that can pump out damage with a rammer and food no vents needed. It’s a great all round tank that I enjoy after my VZ even more than the Kranvagn.
I watched this game live so lucky that i got to see it live. Really cool game

I remember my max damage game came in the Foch 155 years ago, I did 11.5k damage.
It's really one of those moments when every star aligns. It felt like a 1 in 50,000.

Very nice! My highest in the 9 years of playing is 8,585 in my Grille 15 back in 2017 on El Halluf of all maps which conpleted TD-15 for the 260. the 2nd highest is 7722 in my 60TP

This reminds me of the time about 2 or 3 weeks ago where I got 9.5k dmg on himmels in my S. Conq, with not 1, but 2 last second decaps on encounter. The worst part is, we very nearly lost that game.
My highest is in the 6k range. Was 4k for years (T-10/IS-8 first, then Standard B) then I beat my record in several consecutive games in the STRV 103-0. It currently holds my high damage record of 6,425 damage.
Congrats QB for the new top score, reminded me of a match in my T-54 in Mines, spawned on the top and rushed to the hill and realized half of the enemy team was lemming to the town, suffice to say I ran out of standard shells in the first 5 minutes of the game ( I always carry 50-50, with 5 HE shells ) .
That was my first and only 10k damage to date, pity I did not get a video on it cause I was playing in a cyber cafe.
to do 10k with 320alpha you need to click alot.

My damage record were on the Tortoise with around 10461 damage. Was a close game and i could score a rasenai, but our Is-3 on that time snacked the two remaining artys, even I and my team was begging him to dont do it.
Lol, same happened to me when I increased my damage record of 7.7k something (made back in 2014 in a...don't laugh...SU-122-54) to like 30 dmg more with a Tortoise a couple months ago. I found it fascinating that I managed both with T9 TDs.
the SU-122-54 was a good tank. Really a shame they removed it from the game.
@@robinkhn2547 I didn't like it back then, but I could see its value nowadays with a buff. It's an incredibly solid stealthy TD, basically an SU-85 or SU-100 at T9 with nice DPM, average damage, good penetration and decent mobility. The gun handling was sub-par, sadly, with a pretty long aim time, very narrow gun arc (a bad combo) and a depressing lack of gun depression.
From a historical perspective, it's almost a crime to not implement in whatever capacity, since it was the most historical vehicle in the entire line (from T7 upwards at least); it was actually built 77 times. As it turns out, it was also the last conventional cannon-TD the Soviets built, because in 1957 - two years after the production started - their TD doctrine shifted towards building ATGM-based TDs, and production of the SU-122 was halted.
I do agree, however, that it'd be oddly misplaced in either of the two Soviet TD branches. The first line already goes 15 cm from T8 on (and they are rather unmaneuverable heavy tank derivatives), while the second line goes full heavy armor and rear-fighting compartment. If they were to implement a completely new Soviet TD branch based around mobility, stealth and DPM - which would be possible, albeit ridiculous - they could fit this in easily. Who knows. It's still in the game files.
I also broke my damage record recently with the 60TP, in EXACTLY the same position. Middle of the hill, east side. It was +2 mm too. 7400 damage, 3800 blocked, 7 kills. 1300 xp.
7400 isnt high for a damage record honestly, is that the highest you've ever got or just the 60tp?
@@angus5427 I'm not a super unicum bro, I barely got 10k battles and even though I don't play tier 10 often I got more than a few 7k damage games. I just didn't get lucky enough to get a team who camped all game and let me have all the damage.

Last time I fired 60TP HE at a Leo 1, it went straight into the back of the turret (grand battle). Armor not penetrated.

Beside with max damage, there shuold be record that most DPM, calculate by total damage/game time, with atleast 5min game time.

My record is around 8000 dmg in a Strv103B in Mannerheim Line and boy it was a hard carry on my part. Had to fight for that victory like no other.
Well to achieve these types of games 2 things have to happen:
- Enemy players have to be in relatively the same area you are. What I mean to say is you have to be able to have targets at almost all times, and those targets be damageable. This is partially skill in terms of positioning but also dependent on enemies.
- Your teammates need to be bad. Yea.
- Enemy players need to not be really good, where they just steamroll your teammates or chunk your HP (effectively, destroying your vehicle)
Highest damage I ever got is only like... I think 7.9k in a 430U so I guess I'm still in the low class.
I had a similar game in my tortoise. I was platooned with a buddy in his JagdTiger. We had an awesome Scout on our team but brutally bad heavies and meds. I ended up with 8k damage and 5 kills, my buddy got 6k and 7 kills. We added the scout to our platoon and ended with a crucial cont, when I believe all of our heavies were destroyed in the 1st 3 minutes...

GG this sums up every battle in WOT 3 or 4 tanks actually fighting rest hiding in the red line totally out of battle (and they are screaming "FALLBACK WE WANT TO GET SOME DAMAGE")
I had to go and look up my high damage score... a 'mere' 7,241 damage. I was surprised to discover it was in my IS-7, a tank I rarely play (Heavy Tanks aren't normally my thing). It was 2017, an standard match on Ensk, and a serious nail-biter at the end. First and I suspect only time I got a Mastery M in the IS-7.
There are asking you to fall back, so the enemy comes over the ridge for them to shoot at. If you push the enemy to much, the backline dont have any targets. And u dont have any backup. I only play TD´s and also ask frontline to fall back sometimes. But there should be a command..."Fall 20 meters back" :-)

I have broken 10k in two games, both unfortunately ended in loses.
It takes a really rare combination of both teams being bad. Your team has to avoid doing much damage but live long enough that the enemy does not end up going yolo for the last few tanks and the enemy team has to not be competent enough to let you do multiply damage rolls.
I had the same, did 9.9xx multiple times in tier 10 tanks, but a few weeks ago i did 11.000 in the tortoise

I remember back in the day my highest game was in my JP E100 where I did just shy of 12k.
Ive played around 7k games in wot, And a week after i got the chieftain from the auction i achieved 11k damage game with around 2k spotting.
I do t use a gun ramer on this thing, just vert stabs and mobility

It's one thing if your firing line is working in tandem with you and sharing some risk, but it was just pathetic that they just wanted to camp (most likely lose) rather than make moves...
The usual way to win this game is to play it more defensively. Allow the enemy team to peak over the ridge which in turn allows the gun line in the back to fire off their rounds rather than your frontline being blasted by their rear. In essence, simply trading better than them. This is why arty was made - to prevent two teams from a stalemate, refusing to peak over the ridge. It’s also why arty is 100% outdated now and WG knows it, but that’s a different topic. My point is however even though it was necessary to have a gun line in that back, it’s still inexcusable for a lot of those tanks to be sniping. Like that M103.
The level of heavies camping in the back is at epic levels in the game.
Dream scenario. They can’t push over on you, but you have no teammates stealing all the HP after you take the risks.
I managed to get 10.7k dmg in my 60tp about 2 or 3 years ago so this makes me happy seeing this.

my most ive ever done wa 11.9k in the 268 v4 about 4 months ago when I was 3 marking it the crazy thing was that was my second 10k+ game that day in the tank QB should do a replay on it ;)
Good game. Never broke 10k but Ive been close in my IS-4 and E4. Think my max damage is 9.4k in the E4 and 9.8k in the IS-4 (ran out of rounds)

I got 11592 damage in the foch 155 while it still had 850 alpha way back in the day. NA: Helper800. I do not have the replay anymore though, too bad. also did 13600 dmg in a clan wars game but that was when t10 tds came out with the obj 268 and all I did was farm 9 e100 on their sides for like 9 minutes straight.
