Frostcraft works on the tenderizing effect of a HBG ... ? I puzzled around with that thought with a homie last week while doing Mr. i can do 3 Elements. We both casually called it useless because we thought of the HBG doesnt even really have a Draw attack (except that swing when you jumping from a ledge) ... bro Frostcraft on an HBG looks so freaking cursed i only see Long- and Greatswords with it xD
I’ve seen a Frostcraft Dragonpiercer spam Bow build. It was terrifying. Frostcraft is also surprisingly not terrible on DB, as it doesn’t eat through the meter too fast and it builds quickly enough to be no more than a minor annoying to manage. Any other weapon besides the big 3 (and meme HBG like this one) using Frostcraft exists primarily for speedrunning and is only really viable in a scripted setting where eking out every last bit of damage is absolutely necessary, though. The skill got a minor rework in SB that makes it a lot better, especially with the availability that many weapons have to quickly sheathing in that game.
I will never stop hearing Wyvernsnipe HBG’s tenderize attack as a vine boom ever since I made the connection a while back.

It actually also works with SnS aswell. But ya, FC HBG is definitely cursed and is the only HBG build I use lol

You probably would do more damage with AT velkhana set.
