Thanks for going through this. I wasn't able to get this to work the few times I tried this a couple years ago, and I got it to work with your video.
With your instructions, at first I missed something important, but finally tried that and get it now, I think. The thing I was missing at first is that after clicking on LittleNavConnect.exe on the FS2020 computer, and the small rectangle pops up with the IP address you want to put in the second computer in TOOLS, CONNECT, I have to keep that reduced while connecting with the second laptop, to keep the connection. Somehow I missed that point at first.
So, on the FS2020 computer, you'll have two reduced icons open on the task bar, the LittleNavMaps program and the LittleNavConnect, in addition to FS2020, all active and running. I get lost a lot while flying so this will be so much better than switching away from FS2020 to see the map.

Hello. I don't understand how you do with copying files to remote computer. Here is my setup.
I run MSFS 2020 on a desktop(Windows 11 home). On this desktop, Littlenavmap and littlenavconnect are also installed.
I understand that the remote computer (mine is a laptop running under Linux mint debian edition 6) is for tracking purpose.
Actually using LNM 3.0.5 on both machines as well Littlenav connect.
In your video, you are copying somes files from the main machine to the remote machine.
Where do you pick thoses files and where do you copy them on the remote machine?
    thanks

Very informative tutorial. Managed to get the remote machine connected but, cannot get the Scenery Library selected to FS 2020. There is no option for FS 2020, only XPlane 11.

Hi Russ did you generated the file first on the machine which has MSFS 2020 installed prior to loading the library on the remote machine?

Yes, I did. Also upgraded both. On the PC map it is Little Navmap 2.6.10 - MSFS / N 1801, while on the desktop it is Little Navmap 2.6.10 - XP11 / N 1801. Wonder why? as I do not have XP11 on the remote machine.@@Highintheflightsimsky
