The Jamaican justice systems need to be radically improved. The aim should be to get even the most serious cases to trial within twelve months. The present system is just creating an ever increasing backlog whilst the murder rate is higher than ever. Evidence needs to be cleaner, but this is Jamaica and there needs to be proper protection for bona fide witnesses of crime, not for defence lawyers to be able to go round to the homes of their families.
Everytime he made an application for bail for kartel he heard about something new that would be used against kartel so I guess the police continued to search for evidence while he was applying for bail and it seems like while he was applying for bail they found the voice note which prevented him from getting and was used to help find him guilty
