Believe it or not he is an extension of the 90's mind set. He is the last to come from that Tutelage. Once he's done that era will be gone forever. The preparation, the sacrifice, attention to detail, the IQ. He embodies Malone, Jordan, Kobe, Vince, that's who he came up watching. After him, 🤷🏾‍♂️

Larry bird and magic were very popular in high school and so wasn’t Kareem. They all were megastars box office after college. Out of high school lebron definitely had the biggest buzz but coming into the league considering limited media I honestly don’t think he was the biggest. Wilt was dumb famous for being so freaking big and athletic. He had a great college career, played pro in high school, I think won gold in the Olympics and was on the Harlem globe trotters before getting into the nba. He definitely was super famous.
In the modern era it was definitely lebron and Allen iverson who was in nation headlines since high school and getting through the racist bs trail.

@@frogthug5927 Very debatable. I think MJ definitely deserves the GOAT award, but I respect your opinion because i'm a big Lebron fan, and he's closer to MJ then anyone has ever been before, which is saying a lot, because anyone coming anywhere near MJ is a downright miracle, that's how good MJ was. Lebron is also still playing trying to get over on MJ, and he's playing amazingly well still. It will be tough though.

Very incorrect. LBJ sucks with his handles and he doesn't even have anywhere near as good a post game as good as Jordan. Wilt really could play any position since he lead the league in assists, rebounds, points, blocks multiple times during his career. And he could run fast and jump high with a very good fadeaway jumpshot.

Lebron had to get a better team

The most insane thing about him was how his body was already pro ready in terms of statue and muscle. Just a freak of nature. Usually rookies need to adapt their bodys 1-2 seasons after COLLEGE. And Lebron just came from highschool and his body was already pro ready. And his Game IQ already at this young age. Those 2 things are usually earned within years in the lague and he just had it mindblowing

@@xDawhite Totally agree. Lebron is unbelievable, and in my opinion closer to MJ than anyone has ever been before, and he's still playing trying to get there. Just getting near MJ is a major accomplishment, that's how amazing MJ was. Some people are haters, and they aren't realistic on anything. They hate one player and love another. Imagine anyone telling Lebron at that time that he will join the Heat with Dwyane Wade and win 2 rings, return to the Cavs and help them win a ring coming back from a 3-1 deficit, joining the Lakers and giving them their 17th championship during a pandemic, and passing Kareem in the all-time scoring list! That would be soooooo insane.

The more muscle you pack on the harder it gets. That’s why KD can shoot so well. If he bulked to Giannis size he wouldn’t be able to shoot like that anymore. Look at young Giannis, aside from changes to his form, he was a much better shooter before the body change.
