Congratulations on discovering Lovebites. I consider them the best metal band in the world today, just as I consider Band-Maid the best hard rock band. I've seen both live, and having seen Purple, Queen, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Santana and many more in their heyday, I can say these two bands can stand with any of those classic bands when it comes to live performance. In their first five years of existence, Lovebites put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist, after their founder and original bassist left the band for personal reasons. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. She is singing in English, but she has an accent and sometimes pronounces words differently. The lyrics of the songs are really good, I'd recommend checking out songs with lyrics or closed captions if you're trying to get the meaning to the songs. Just hearing the song can be really hard to understand what they are saying.
In my experience it’s not what you say but how you say it and if I’m being honest I don’t think you meant the “housewives” comment as an insult (based on the way you described it) so I wouldn’t be too upset about how others took the comment after all some of the fanbase can be a little too defensive of the ladies because there has been other reactors that have said far worse things about LOVEBITES, anyway most of the live videos (official ones) don’t have CC although most of the official Music Videos do and as the others have mentioned they do sing in English it’s just that Asami has a little accent so it can be a bit difficult to understand her sometimes but you should know that English isn’t their native language and to sing entirely in English is an extra challenge for them and because it’s the most popular dialect used globally. So I hope that a few nitpickers don’t discourage you from checking out more of this incredible band ✌️

Congratulations on discovering Lovebites. I consider them the best metal band in the world today, just as I consider Band-Maid the best hard rock band. I've seen both live, and having seen Purple, Queen, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Santana and many more in their heyday, I can say these two bands can stand with any of those classic bands when it comes to live performance.
In their first five years of existence, Lovebites put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist, after their founder and original bassist left the band for personal reasons.
They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later.
They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. They have posted four performances from that DVD:

They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal,hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. She is singing in English, but she has an accent and sometimes pronounces words differently. The lyrics of the songs are really good, I'd recommend checking out songs with lyrics or closed captions if you're trying to get the meaning to the songs. Just hearing the song can be really hard to understand what they are saying.

In my experience it’s not what you say but how you say it and if I’m being honest I don’t think you meant the “housewives” comment as an insult (based on the way you described it) so I wouldn’t be too upset about how others took the comment after all some of the fanbase can be a little too defensive of the ladies because there has been other reactors that have said far worse things about LOVEBITES, anyway most of the live videos (official ones) don’t have CC although most of the official Music Videos do and as the others have mentioned they do sing in English it’s just that Asami has a little accent so it can be a bit difficult to understand her sometimes but you should know that English isn’t their native language and to sing entirely in English is an extra challenge for them and because it’s the most popular dialect used globally. So I hope that a few nitpickers don’t discourage you from checking out more of this incredible band ✌️

If you try to think or analyze the band's BPM, songs, and music based on traditional concepts of a metal band, I think your understanding of Lovebites will be limited and one-sided.
This heavy metal band continues to evolve.
They don't stick to one genre of metal music.
Sometimes it blends different metal music genres together, and sometimes it blends classical music.
They have a variety of genres of metal music that they think are good, and they have the skills to perform them live.
Sometimes their songs are on the border between metal and hard rock, and if they call it metal music, then to me it is metal music.
LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 11 June 2018, LOVEBITES won '🏆BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.
