Hi guys, wanna check out some of my other reactions to Lara Fabian? Click here: ua-cam.com/video/fXPq4mIbCaw/v-deo.html&ab_channel=LucieV
One of the beast performances Lara did
A song composed by Igor Krutoy and with lyrics written by Lara herself.
She had been shocked by a scandal in Spain where a beaten woman died no being heard and protected by the local justice and police.
This scandal led Spain to change their culture wrt to beaten women and become one of the more advanced country regarding the protection of these women.
Thank you for the backstory Eric.
I love your reaction, Such a great performance. I love Lara.
The best video who makes me cry every time. Love from france
Oo thanks for this
Thank you Lucie for having the audacity to present this Lara Fabian masterpiece which is a real story that happened in Spain but could have happened anywhere in the world. I hope I have touched the sensitivity of the women and that they react quickly before these murders happen again. Thank you again Lucie.
This song is based on a true story. A women died and Lara wanted to do a tribute to all the womens that go true this❤
The guy is a famous painter and in front of the public he shows a nice image of a happy family but behind doors he's a mad man, even the children are afraid of him.
Linda reacción! Saludos desde Costa Rica! Hermosa canción,gran mensaje! Lara Fabián, la mejor cantante e intérprete del mundo entero, la voz de cristal más bella y perfecta que existe! Gracias!
Thanks my love this song helped me a lot god bless❤
This song is about a real life woman called Angie that was killed by her husband and Lara put a picture of Angie on the big screen in her live concert. That murder is what inspired this song. The lyrics basically say cry it's ok to cry about what you are going through and I want to help you escape this nightmare situation. This is what Lara would have said to Angie if she had known her before he was killed. That's also why the song sounds so sad and deeply tragic.
I think the body bag shows what really happened. The ending was an alternative and that she should have been able to escape to safety. It's really a very sad song that tells a story of something which, sadly, is a common occurrence. The power of manhood involves the ability to protect. This story illustrates the abuse of that power. The husband exemplifies a "lack of manhood"
Hello Lucie, here is a link to the live version of this song in spanish with the english subtitles... She is as always very emotinal for this song written for a victim of domestic violence. The video is indeed very hard and explicit but also so well played by Lara. Really hope it helps to eradicate these behaviours.
I think the video presents two alternate timelines. One is the bodybag + him not picking her up in the kitchen but continuing to beat & kick her (in middle of video after he trashes his art studio, there is a clip of him continuing to savagely attack her) as opposed to timeline when he picked her up and she called her friend/left him = averted the body bag ending.
Omg you are so correct! More heart wrenching now that you made me realize this. 🥲
very good reaction and I understand your reaction to the video because unfortunately many women and children have gone through the same kind of situation. I believe the beginning is really the end. She is dead at the end which is the start of the video. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
I cant explain this
Lara wrote this for her good friend who didn’t survive the domestic terrorism at the hands of her husband.
She was in a body bag at the beginning to show what happens if you don't have a friend that will give you the courage to leave. At the end she doesn't die because she did have someone who came to help her escape. Her rescuer is actually The part of Lara rescuing the victim and the victim although played by Lara is actually portraying a real life victim called Angie who Lara is playing the role of. My next comment below explains more about the victim. I know it's confusing. But that is what this video is.
Hi the interpretation is she did leave but had a head on collision and her kids went to sadly hence the highway bodybag when you make a vow and all!
My interpretation: the shocking beginning is the normal end to the story. But in the song, Lara calls women to opt for liberty and fly away of toxic persons and the video ending is the happy ending if they follow this advice.
It was from the "concept album AND movie" (kind of...) Mademoiselle Zhivago, where she personnified 12 women and their stories.
THAT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SONG, BUT THE VIDEO MADE THIS 59 YEAR OLD VIKING TEAR UP OVER THAT MANIAC BEATHING HIS WIFE THAT AINT A REAL MAN. A GOOD REACTION. LOVE FROM DENMARK
It was Spanish, Lara wrote this for a woman, probably her friend , Maria Viktoria . She was from Spain, her husband killed her. Lara wrote this for all women not to be scared to leave those men, true story. I like your reactions.
To find out more about Lara
You have to watch one of these concerts in its entirety, because the interaction between Lara's songs and her audience is almost as important as her songs themselves.
It's hard to watch the whole thing as a reaction on UA-cam unless you're going to split it up.
But it can be done outside youtube.
"En toute intimité"is my favourite, and it's completely translated into English.

This is once again a fantastic song and the fantastic voice of Lara Fabain: ""Llora"" what means ''cry''
Cry, let him go, he has no love
Freedom, cry and let us go ....
A song about domestic violence .
Maria Victora had to die before the Spanish government changed the law about domestic violence.
This video is a part of the music video made of the album "" Mademoiselle Djivago"", 50 minutes
Made in Russia whit compositions of the Ukrainian composer Igor Krutoy and the lyics of Lara Fabian.
Lara her perfomance in Moscow in 2010

Thank you for the info Dirk, good to know.
Hello Lucie, I have to agree with you. Lara's voice is wonderful and the video is awful. The worst thing is that the pictures distract from the music. I couldn't concentrate on the music. But still, the emotions got to me. I don't know how Lara managed that. Her voice got through to me. Not really conscious. But she has arrived.
It's like film music, which enhances the effect of the images and at the end of the film you can't even tell if and what kind of music there was.
That's the way it is intended for films. It's a pity for Lara. I'll listen to the music without the video. That does Lara better justice.
Thank you for this stirring reaction and
Greetinges from Germany
