Thank you so much for sharing .. I grew up in Nagaland and the documentary brought back vivid and fond memories. This is all the more precious because my father features in it .. Basant Kumar, then Commandant of NAPTC. It was overwhelming. I miss my Nagaland.
NAGAS of those bygone days were so simple, humble and dedicated.Even the great Indian leaders honour them.Lets compare our generation with them, really awesome!.
This video is a relic... Thanks for a great explore of the early Nagaland. God bless those who have gone through all the hardships of these years.. a big salute to you sir...
That's my dad seeing off students for an excursion at NST bus stand Kohima. He was then minister of agri, law, tourism, parl affairs. He is also featured inaugurating the first link road at Ungma. ET Ezung in shades is also seen as a student before he joined politics in 1982.
thank you for reviving this unity and hardwork culture.every Naga and any sensible ones other than Nagas too will learn this hard work nature which will not make him or her beg even in crisis days.
Looking at old traditional dances and music i realize today's traditional dances at hornybill festival are just modified versions to add more fancy and appeal to outsiders.
I recognise late P.Yanger Ao who hailed from Longjang village and was a popular Ao dialect newsreader and served as an officer in the then Information & Publicity department GON ! Sady he passed away of old age in mid 2024 ! RIP ! at 40:51 ! 🙏
I am from West Bengal with ancestry going back to Southern Bangladesh and probably also North East India before that. North East India and its people appears to be very close to me ,even more than many Bangladeshis,Bengalis and other Indians. Not sure why but that has been my feeling for last decade or so ever since I started visiting NE thanks to my contact with some Hmar people.
We Nagaland are glad to be a part of your life my indian respecting n horner by your love n with humility . Today we have a great opportunity to do the things with freedom though leaders..... 1. So many things have changed within these 50 years... 2. Yes, NST buses are almost in the same condition, some even worst than of that ages... 👍 3. Yes, some roads are condemned to remain like this. While the roads in some parts of the state have improved so much... 4. Can't deny the fact that, our people are naturally always fashionable....

Road during that time better than roads here today, reverse development in that department 😂
1970 to 1995 was there. So proud to be part of a culture that is grounded to the earth.
Nothing has changed here... Buses are almost in same condition. Roads are same, people fashionable as ever...
