When he started rubbing his arm and playing with his hair I felt so bad because I do the same thing when I’m trying to not cry he’s such a good guy and he’s been through so much and he doesn’t deserve it
I'm type 1 diabetic and also 30 years old and a huge fan of Korn!! Diabetes is bulls*it for me at my age. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, ESPECIALLY A kid! Lets find a cure JON!

hi! I´m type 1 diabetic too. I was diagnosed when I was 10 years old, 2 months after my birthday and I remember my glucose was in 407 mg/dl and that was too high! when I watched this video, I cried because I literally know how this feels and it's not good, it´s a constant pain with a treatment and insulin shots and needles and prescriptions... but here we are, living in a constant battle like his son. thank you, John, for being empathic and carying about us trough your foundation. let´s find a cure!

I've been a type 1 diabetic since i was 15 years old. I am 23 years old now, Diabetes has changed my life so much and has made my life so much harder then what it has to be. I hope that one day there is a cure for type 1 diabetes and that people can live a happy healthy life.
My 3 year old daughter was diagnosed August of 2017. It’s one of the most painful experiences a parent can have. To watch your baby lay in the PICU of children’s hospital for three days with two Iv’s in one arm and another one in the other arm. And all you want to do is hold them, when they reach out for you is one of the most painful experience of my life. I slept on the floor for three days and as bad as that sucked it doesn’t even compare to want she has to go through.Type one diabetes is brutal disease!! If there is anything you can do to help rather you go on a JDRF walk to just show support. Or donate money either way everything is a massive help. And trust me if you think Type 1 is a joke or not that serious try going to sleep wondering if your daughter had enough insulin or to much. But we will find a cure one of these days with technology going the way it is, it’s getting better and better everyday! Keep your heads up and horns in the air and I know the rock family will help in anyway they can!! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿🤟

My wife has had type 1 diabetes since she was 4 years old..it is so dangerous..there has been many times I had to litterally open her mouth and put honey or juice in her to revive her cuz her sugar was at like 30 or 40..I feel for you 2nd and all the kids that go through this. Hopfully there will be a cure and they get artificial pancreas. On the market.
😭😭😭bless u so much. I'm 23 and engaged to a guy who has done exactly the same thing many times for me and quite literally saved my life. I just had a low of 39 tonight out of nowhere(ate dinner and counted carbs properly) it's definitely super dangerous.

I know how he feels. I just got diagnosed 5 months ago, and it was like an explosion. I was tired, could barely walk 5 feet without stopping to catch my breath. We ignored it for 2 months. We went to the doctor and my sugar was normal, but a week later im in the ICU almost in a comma with a 490-510 blood sugar.

This made me cry, holy sh**... Thankfully, I don't have any diabetes, however my mom has Type 2 diabetes and she even once said to me "you don't know what it's like to have diabetes" and I'm sure she's right. But to have Type 1, which is supposedly the worse of the two, must be hell. Praying for Jonathan's son and anyone else who has diabetes. The fact that Jonathan Davis has his own demons he battles/battled with, depression, suicide, alcoholism and child abuse/sexual, and in spite of all his problems he still manages to be a father to his boy and care for him, makes me respect him 1000000 times more, hes amazing! Wow I had know idea. I am here to tell you at 48 I am still alive. I have type1 since the age of 4. He can live a full life. I have a diabetic pump and it has been so awesome.
I have been a korn fan all my life. And i got type 1 diatetes when i was 10. And what he feels is exactly how my parents feel. And to know that hes going through the same thing. Its a pretty sad thing

Thank you for this small video Jonathan. I've lived with Type 1 Diabetes for half my life now, it was extremely touching to see that someone who I have been "close" to(through your music) is now closer to me in a sense. I'm sorry that you and your family has to deal with this. Thank you for the show at the OKC Zoo Amp on Oct. 1st. Take care.

My little little bro has type 1 and it’s so hard sometimes but he fights and kicks it’s ass and I’m so proud of him and I couldn’t even deal with it myself. I’ve watched him cry and fight but he’s on the pump now and it’s easier. Happy to hear someone with a voice like Johnathan Davis talk about it. As a huge korn and Nu metal fan this makes me so happy.
Man there are a lot of bad diseases out there. My wife has MS and it has ruined our lives. I love Jonathan and KoRn and every KoRn fan out there. 🤘🏻

Thank you so much for everything you do. My son was just diagnosed before his 2nd birthday, we had to rush him to the ER and found out that his glucose levels were at 1,000😰 he was almost comatose. They flew him to a hospital near by that was better equipped to handle his disorder. It is such a horrible kind of sadness to see your babies getting pricked and shots Everytime before they can eat or drink anything, constantly monitoring their carb intake and checking their levels. I don't sleep well at night right now because I am so afraid of him getting low in his sleep. Gosh, this turned into a rant...I am so thankful for you and this song💞

diabetes is bad. My dad has to take pills everyday for potassium levels blood pressure and other things. I know with diabetes you can loose your feet and that is scary if not treated right. My dad got surgery and got rid of the adrenal gland on his right kidney and it was great because he didn't have problems with the high blood pressure or low blood pressure for good which is less pills to take but then according to the doctor he got another thing to battle now, it is worse and it is a Kidney disease, it is said to be stage 3 by the doctor but I know nothing about that disease and don't even know the name. So far my whole family is fine, thank God but hopefully that disease goes away, I have faith it will go away because my whole family believes in God which is also why everyone in my family isn't so worried but still it was sad to hear. He got type 2 diabetes for anyone wondering but still diabetes suck whether it is type 1 or type 2.
My sister of 46 years has been type 1 diabetic I have saved her life many times running out of work getting speeding tickets to shove a peanut butter sandwich down her, mouthful of a Mountain Dew my point is make insulin free!!!!!!

Victoria Avelar I have type one and I'm not going to be an ass to you but I will be blunt. People need to do their research. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease which destroys the beta cells in your pancreas thus making it not work. Type 2 diabetes is about the sugar and giving it from obesity. No one can predict type 1. Its a battle. You try so hard to eat right ans give the proper amount of insulin for everything you eat and your sugars go out of whack for no reason sometimes. Its frustrating
