Upgraded from Redmi S2 3GB/32GB Android 9 to Redmi Note 12 8GB/128GB Android 13. This is my first amoled phone. When looking at UA-cam thumbnails or footage that has been professionally graded, the image quality is stunning. Text clarity is sharp. The speaker has some bass which makes the sound fuller. The camera is very fast, zero delay, photos have significantly less noise and renders lighting in a way that you can barely notice in the real world. Also photos have more details such that you can see texture details on surfaces like walls. Battery life is very good, I only charge once a day for less than 20 minutes. 33w charger is a real time saver. The finger print scanner is very reliable and snappy.
The A14 has a 2MP depth sensor, not a 5MP ultrawide. It also uses the Dimensity 700 (5G version/Exynos 1330 in India) and the Exynos 850 on the 4G (I think).
Redmi note 12 has better: amoled screen, 120 hz refresh rate, chipset, better 33watts charger than 15, better punch hole front cam design than teardrop, Both are equal on front & rear camera, and battery specs. But I just found out today (May 6, 2023) that SamsungG a14 just dropped its price to ₱9,000 which is 1T lower that Redmi Note12. The one selling SGA13 4G at equal to redmi note 12 price of ₱10, 000 is giving away free travel adapter and earbuds. 😅 Perhaps my presently dying fone can still wait for 4 more weeks. 😢 ... I will decide to buy my final choice next month. I will compare redmi note12 to oneplus nord ce2 lite next later. 🤔4:17
