I agree. I’m a huge fan of Max, one of my all time favorite fighters. I been saying this is a dangerous fight and would love to have seen max get the belt one more time. But ilia is dangerous and well rounded fighter. I don’t think max is washed but he might be at the point in his career where he would perform a weight class up. We’ve seen a lot of other fighters in the past do that where maybe a big cut is no longer a benefit to them at that “age.” But whatever he does he gotta rest up before he takes his next fight !!
At the end of the fight you see his true self. The respect he has for his opponents you don’t see often especially those who by all means are respected fighters like Volka and Max.
