RIP Mr. McNally! Four months ago, i had the good pleasure to see Anastasia on tour! As a musical theatre geek, i appreciate how this man helped retell the classic story of Anya and her journey to find home, love and family. His book made the plot even more magical and compelling than ever and at the same time blow the animated film out of the water. By making it more historical accurate, emotionally complex and epic in scale. All that to help create a beautiful musical. Thank you Sir and enjoy your walk down 44th Street in the sky.

Note how the audience falls silent when he starts to talk...what a genius. And the fact that he was on the verge of tears throughout (especially when he talks about the AIDS crisis), really speaks to the amount of obstacles that he has been through......

A true legend. Had the pleasure of meeting him last summer at a private screening of his documentary EVERY ACT OF LIFE. So warm, the kindest, and inspirational man you'll ever meet. Both him and Tom are amazing.

how one man could write in a manner that describes and interprets the experiences of growing pains in Gay Men from all over this Universe was a talent that passes through now and then. Terrence McNally was one of those writers. He lives on in his work and in the hearts of his loved ones.
