    Expert level understanding from a homie on the discord for victimize. Because the “choose” verbiage makes from some good magic lingo, cheers !
    Interpretation of victimize, “Well in victimize's case it's a bit different from other spells of the type. You target as the spell goes on the stack. Meaning people can respond to the spell BEFORE you choose a creature to sacrifice as the sacrifice cost is only paid AS it resolves. Unlike Dread return in which you target FIRST and then sac as part of the cost BEFORE it hits the stack.”

      Indeed, a steep price, you could likely find other ways to build the yard, overall good fit here.
