I know this was a tough loss for country music and its fans. It's evident from reading comments about him that he has positively impacted everyone one way or another. My deepest condolences go out to his family and those closest to him during this difficult time. Let's keep his family in our thoughts and prayers. I don't drink, but I'll pour some fresh orange juice in my red cup just for you, Toby! Rest well, LEGEND!!

My heart is shattered. 💔 He did so much for other cancer patients. He built his version of the Ronald McDonald House in Oklahoma. He was very active in the recovery efforts after the Moore OK tornado that devastated so much of the town and rural areas. That is were I met him. We had gone down recover some horses and cattle until their owners could rebuild. We had planned only one trip due to expenses. He funded another two trips, and feed, vet bills, etc. and we were able to transport 36 horses and 49 cows to our properties here in the Kansas City metro area and care for them for the 6-10 weeks they needed before going back home. A truly remarkable, caring, and spiritual man. He has finally beaten cancer and is in the paradise of our Lord. God Bless his amazing wife, children, and grandchildren, and give them strength and comfort during this difficult time for them. May they find peace in the fact that his pain is gone, and that there is one hell of a concert going on in heaven right now.

Oklahoma Sooners will be serving beer in red solo cups at their upcoming basketball game against Oklahoma State to honor Toby Keith.
Toby was a massive Oklahoma Sooner fan. He was almost always seen at most games of all sports, and usually seen on campus. He was almost always on the sideline for a lot of football games this past season. And in November he did a little podcast interview with former OU coach Bob Stoops. He mentioned that he wanted to start up a podcast. 😕

My prayers go out to all as well. “I wanna talk about me” and “How do you like me now” are two of his best. “Whiskey For My Men, Beer for my Horses” video is so awesome! His live performance of “I’ll never smoke weed with Willie Nelson again”..... priceless! Toby was funny, had beautiful slow songs “if you kiss like that”, “who’s that man!” And then “My list” after 9/11 and “Brought to you Courtesy of the Red White and blue (the angry American) is pure patriotic gold. Please to a tribute day. We can laugh and cry together. Toby also did a song “Don’t let the old man win”. It should be last or I’ll be weeping #ABtheKreator @ABtheKreator! Toby lived fun!

Two patriotic songs by Toby Keith are "American Soldier" (which is a nice tribute to those who serve or have served) ... and "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" (whish is an FU song written afer 9/11). Both worth a listen.
I actually would recommend that you watch them on the Fourth of July 🇺🇸 . If you don’t have a list of recommended patriotic songs for that day/week, you should start one - with “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” at the top.

My ex deployed to Iraq in 2006 (we were still married). I listened to American Soldier so often and cried to release the stress of the deployment and trying to hold down the home front.
A lot of his songs also helped me laugh and cheered me up.

Toby will be greatly missed. He gave us a lot of great music. His songs always evoked a strong emotion- some like this one were laughter, some were sadness and some were pride but they all made you feel something. There aren’t many artists whose music does that these days.

As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I saw him in Afghanistan with the USO. I then saw him 5 times here back at home. His music got so many of us through tough days and times. He was a true Patriot and great American. He will never be forgotten. My heart is torn up over this

I'm retired military. So this hit hard. Saw him twice as part of USO tours. Part singing part comedy. I think this was a song he would have preferred going out on. That was Jeff Dunham with Bubba J.

Also there is a video of Shitty Golfer funny. He had just a presence that connected. In Country today besides Garth. Dolly, Reba, Carrie underwood, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert. They are country and fun.
It is just such a fun song. I think he would want to remembered as not only a very patriotic man, but also full of fun.

We believe he knew them that would be one of his last performances. Also listen to Waymans song called crying for me. He wrote it for his bf and band mate who also passed away. However now it hits a little different since us fans are the ones crying for me due to Toby's passing. And there are soooo many more you need to listen to. He was a brave man who accepted that god was there for him in whatever way it went.
This song was written on a dare. Someone said something like, "Can you write songs about anything?" And he said, "Yes." Hence writing a whole song about a red solo cup. I'm sure somebody can explain this dare better, but you get the gist of it.
What is so crazy to me.. no one ever talked about his true family values.. Would have been married 40 years next month to his wife Tricia.. they have 3 children and more grandchildren.. His videos always had him with some cute girls and what not.. but that wasn't him.. it was for his career.. He was a true family man and my heart goes out to his family.
