Awesome! I saw a video the other day where a company has developed a way to "fast takeoff" in their new model. They liken it to "popping the clutch" and can get off the ground in like 30-40 ft, same as landing. Somehow they are using a belt drive and spin the rotor up to like 500 rpm and that's fast enough to do the trick. I think the company name was ELA? It's a kit but they make a new owner spend a week with them in the local US facility as an assist build. It looks pretty straight forward, the fuselage is a carbon fiber tub, just bolt a few things on basically and that's it.
@frankcanfly in Europe they are kid, the world doesn't revolve around you. Autogyros have had their main rotor detached from the mast in flight, talk about safety of a certified gyrocopter
@ Well this is an American publisher and the facts are correct for American customers and certification. The regulations are different in Europe, but Magni has not achieved factory certification in the USA. I’m sorry if those facts cause you to make insults.
@ most videos don’t mention location, but I actually did in the first sentence. Others clues for you are the English language and the American accent. Is this your first time on UA-cam? If you ask questions before making arguments, you would seem smarter. Please take your silly argument somewhere else.
One of the most beautiful MTOs we've ever built, in my opinion. Nice to see it in action. Best regards from Germany
Great presentation, Frank...
Super awesome Frank!! Great to see you on this platform!
Kind of cool, it flies which is a plus. Maybe I need to get in one and try it. I like the chill factor of 25kts

Intriguing. Frank is a good proponent of gyroplanes! I couldn't get my bride in anything with an open cockpit, though.
Did you "Uncertified" Magni??????
Magni aircraft are all EAB Experimental Amateur Built aircraft, not factory-built Certified aircraft. Very different

@@frankcanfly rewatch the video son, he didn't specify to this being the case in USA
