I have made several light up tumblers and always drilled through the sidewall of the tumblers. No matter how much I sealed the hole I could never make the tumblers keep ice. This is brilliant and can’t wait to use this technique. Love this tumbler and you did a beautiful job. Merry Christmas!!

Do you have a link for that transparent printable vinyl but for inkjet? Whenever I look it gives me transfer paper and I don't think that is what I want

There is a vacuum between the two layers of steel. The hole lets air in, which conducts heat. Sealing the hole doesn't replace the vacuum.

Just drill a hole in the side of the cup where the lid fits then then you won’t have to worry about your wire

I think the wires “sticking up” isn’t a big deal in my opinion. With this design since he is stealing the lights, the haphazard nature fits.

I really love this, I am having so many issues with the bottom, I've drilled it and it still doesn't pop on and off, any suggestions?
It took me a few times to drill it down enough, a little at a time. Go slow, you can drill off too much.

Are you putting the uv resin on top of the little light bulbs or under them?
I actually apply uv resin to the wire near the bulb
How do you screw the bottom back on the cup without ruining the lights?
I use my dremel tool to ground down the threads on the plastic bottom so it just pops on instead of screwing back on

I used waterslide for this. I do have the link in the description box below the video, its called Hiipoo waterslide paper. I hope this helps

I just googles Christmas light bulb clip art and printed them on clear sticker paper
How do you wash it?
It has to be hand washed, being careful not to get the battery pack wet of course
