This boss was bullshit, even with debug mode on random tentacles come out of the ground and kill you no matter what.

Why were they in the facility in the first place?

You just start over with your treasures and points carried over if you press Enter.
You end up on the menu screen if you press Backspace. I think.

@AstonishingAce It's in the third video, in the locked section right above the robot boss after you beat him. The key for that lock is found in a treasure chest after you beat the plant boss.
