Great video. Nothing is annoying like one commenter said. The man looked happy someone was filming his talent. I don’t know how he knew the boards were coming.
He is actually the one pulling the boards with that stick which has the hook on the end. The material is sitting on those boards right above the conveyor belt and they pull the boards one by one to release the material.
I am curious about the hook tool, as I see in a lot of these videos the plank puller having to sweep with the hook to dislodge any stuck gravel or sand that has caked in the steel, or banging with the end of the stick to shake things loose and make the flow better. Why not put a flat steel plate on the opposite end of the hook, like a margin trowel size that he could use for scraping along the walls along the edge of the pile? You could even angle it to be the same degree as the side of the bin, so when he puts the rod across the conveyor to use as a seat, it would act as a base plate and make it more stable.
The religion of safetyism didn't hit their shores yet. Wait till a couple of women join the crew - within a year all of them will be forced to wear three helmets and hi-viz socks & underpants.
Cabo was the villages best rock stick fisherman! His brother Zenbu was highly satisfied with the haul! The village would have plenty of wooden planks to feast on for many years to come.
think about it. If there were no planks, the drag on the belt would be so high you would not be able to spin it. It's so the belt can spin freely and isn't trying to move the entire pile at once.
Otherwise the belt will not move. To much weight. If it was not heavy without planks, the mountain would move all in one shot. This freight weighs thousands of kilo's. The machine cannot move that and the complete system will be damaged, costing a capital.
This worker knows his job.. Instead of just trying to cause the material to move from the longitudinal direction, he is ensuring that the material on the two side walls also fall at the same time. This makes from flawless, smoorh snd safe progress.
@@deanworrall4567 Even if belt was powerful enough, it would be pretty dangerous to let entire thing to be dragged at once. Removing boards one by one let workers control how much material is dragged along.
1. When it's completely full, how do you remove the first plank? 2. Why do you even need the planks? Wouldn't you get the same result if the conveyor moved without any planks?
As the others said, the planks keep the weight off the belt system. To answer how to remove the first planks, most likely there are no planks on the first few meters to get the system running
Before they load the barge they lay those boards across the valley so that the load does not rest on the conveyor belt. Then a worker has to remove the boards one at a time with that pole that has a hook on one end while they're unloading.
They are placed adjacent to each other above the conveyor belt. They stop all the material falling onto the conveyor at once. They are removed one of the time, so the conveyor doesn’t get overloaded and jam. It’s pretty obvious if you think about it.
I wonder what these guys make in USA money. It can't be that much. Anybody with a brain could do this kind of work I would think! Nice video to watch thanks for posting
Now if this were to have taken place in the USA, both workers would have been on their cellphones, lost their balance 12 seconds into the job, and died in the process.
That's the first time I've ever seen an unloading actually completed. Well done!
Watching those two guys mess with each other ... the BEST!
I love it when the men are smiling & laughing while they work. This was a great video!
Question ???Do you have one of a complete landing start to finish? It's the plank placement process I'd like to see😊
Yes we do
@UpdateWorld277 do you have a date to refer? So I can watch? Or..... when might you another?
Yeeeeessss
Please!!
Thanks! We get to watch all the way to empty! Happy!
Easy job for the guys. No "bridges" in the material, but likely a lot of noise. Regards from Denmark /A
Oddly satisfying 😆like to see the loading of the barge 😊

Good to see that they're wearing the proper safety equipment.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen an unloading process fully completed.
When was the video done. Long sleeves here next one shorts and flipflops.
Hello from Texas you are very hard workers
So smooth. So consistent. I’d love to have a go
whats the wood pieces about?
Cabo was the villages best rock stick fisherman! His brother Zenbu was highly satisfied with the haul! The village would have plenty of wooden planks to feast on for many years to come.
Great shot from up high
Do the workers work for the barge or the port
Barge.
@@templeofdelusion Thank You for the update
Why are there planks in the material? To stop the conveyor getting crushed when the holds are full?
think about it. If there were no planks, the drag on the belt would be so high you would not be able to spin it. It's so the belt can spin freely and isn't trying to move the entire pile at once.

How many boards !
Красивый процесс!!!!💪👍🖐️

열심히 일하는당신 멋있어요 👍
What are the boards used for?
best educated guess is to stop the weight of the material from sitting on the entire length of the conveyor belt and stopping it from moving..

Wow Beautiful work
I’m wondering why the guy pulled out the woods out of small woods out?
Que satisfatório ver ate o final do material 😍
how long in real time to unload fully?
Someone posted on a video that it was two hours not sure how much material or what it was , it was post on a video I saw a week or more back
1. When it's completely full, how do you remove the first plank?
2. Why do you even need the planks? Wouldn't you get the same result if the conveyor moved without any planks?
I think the planks keep the weight of the load from stopping the conveyor belt.
Without the planks the entire load would sit on the belt. That is too much weight for the belt drive system
As the others said, the planks keep the weight off the belt system. To answer how to remove the first planks, most likely there are no planks on the first few meters to get the system running
what happens if he lets a piece of wood go up the conveyor belt??
Are you high? It's noisy as helll and the only thing that's relaxing is NOT having to do the work doof* I like these two guys.
How can he see the wood planks?
When you see the hold they pull the wood out
ถ่ายที่ประเทศไหนครับ
i want this job
Why aren't they wearing nose cancelling ear muffs
要注意安全,萬一跌倒代誌就大條
I wonder if they left a gap every 10 slats or so would it unload quicker.... Shouldnt be too much weight for the belt.
Nice video, but the annoying «subscribe» button destroys it all.
only reason to add this button is below :)

Agreed
Where are the boards coming from?
They come from trees.
Before they load the barge they lay those boards across the valley so that the load does not rest on the conveyor belt. Then a worker has to remove the boards one at a time with that pole that has a hook on one end while they're unloading.
@@dalepeterson5609 aah thanks.

oddly relaxing to watch the pebbles flow
Dealing with rock and your wearing flip-flops.. thats just an accident waiting to happen
You can see the video compression algorithm break down with all the small moving rocks so they become blurry

I dont see why they need the boards, the conveyer would probably work without them?
Too heavy and too much volume that wants to move
I only come to these to see the safety nerds have a meltdown in the comments
Этот звук машинный это большой вибратор работает? Там внутри наверно потерять слух можно 😂
Ahh , egga roll farhht!

How does he see the 2X4? Every time i try to spot it but he already knows where it is lol.

Good thing they have their safety slippers on.
How on earth does he know where to look?
These boards cover the conveyor belt, they lie there one after the other. Without them, the entire weight of the cargo will block the belt.
