I'm skeptical that's the real sound of the ultrasonics mic - I got the Moondrops 'space travel' and when I record video with my phone, it seems to use the phone's built-in mic rather than the earphone mic
@@ricko13 I used the Pixel 9 Pro XL and as soon as I switched it to video it pops up letting me know that the earbuds are connected and that audio is being recorded from them
@@OfficialGameskyPlease check the mics on the TWS then. Thats clearly the internal mics. Usually on the Pixel you need to choose the sound source as by default it always uses the internal ones
For seemingly the same build quality as the space travels, I find it hard to justify shelling out 75$ for this. My main gripe with the space travel is its durability. Usually around a year, at least one side becomes loose and doesn't have proper connection with the charging pins, and stops being charged because of it. For 20 bucks, it is passable as you could still replace it under warranty for a year. But for something that costs 3x more, they need to have a more durable design
Agreed. The App also does not seem to have improved which is a big concern. The App is really mediocre at best. They still have not fixed the audio being too quiet issue and the ANC is passable for 20 bucks but not anything higher. I am okay with my SpaceTravel being that price, but I am concern this pair being $75 can be justifiable or not
You can also disable bluetooth absolute volume in developers options on Android phones when enabled. Don't know about Apple phones. To get more volume.
I have liked their stem design since the Nekocake. I'm glad there is an option to escape the open case design, but more curious about the sound with the dual drivers. They still have some work to do on the app but their progressing along which is a plus. Thx for sharing!
0:42 no, actually the design of the 'ultrasonic' case closely resembles the Moondrop 'space travel' case which in turn served as the inspiration for the Moondrop 'BLOCK' case, ultimately influencing the design of the 'ultrasonic' case ok i got it, that's just an awful generic case lol
I have one BIG question regarding the Golden Years as well... But now i realized you andwered that question... I love the space travel and i. Extremely excited about the reviews ive seen for the Golden years... Theyre so damn quiet though... Would a bluetooth headphone amplifier boost the volume on wireless earbuds?
You did test the club mode, which is obviously boosted. The monitor sounds like the flat one. You may judge the sound through that, please. Cheers Tibor
In my eyes, it's the LDAC that saves these. Mediocre noise cancelling and no wireless charging is *really* hard to justify att $75 without really good sound.
Can you please talk about how OnePlus buds pro 2 firmware update ruined the sound quality? No one is really talking about it and OnePlus isn't doing anything about it either. A lot of us have complained so much about it and we're yet to get a firmware update to fix it
I agree with you on the sub 100$ price range it's awesome. But I don't know why companies put ANC on their earbuds when it really doesn't do very much. I mean it looks good when you're reading the box I guess. It would be interesting to know how the sound compares to the capsule 3 Pro +? Oh and the microphones sound great. Thank you Gamesky much appreciated. 💯🔥🔥🇺🇸
Surprisingly enough, the extra case grows on you. The Sparks had an extra case, which looked nice; almost a vegan leather texture to it. With my Golden Ages a silicone case was included, I thought it was dumb at first but now I like the design and the combined look. Let's get something straight, the looks are not everyone's taste, there are worse out there; even from major brands. Also, the fact that Moondrop's TWS are so affordable (except for Alice) that even with an extra case included the cost is the same as the competition is amazing. Not all brands include extra protection in their TWS.
After the 2 weeks I have used them and the case I love the case while it's meh to use in pocket but u can take them out of the case in pocket easily so give and take :)
It sounds like another easy to recommend product from Moondrop. I expect a comparison with Moondrop's other similarly priced TWS, Golden Ages. I will also add that the mic is the cleanest I've from any other mic test; hot take, I don't think that the mics on the AirPods/Pro are any good, they're overrated.
The mic test is wrong. You are using your phones or cameras mics not the one from Moondrop. Please test again by rubbing against the mics to see if they pick up sound. There is no ENC and artifacts hearable but they have to be there as it is using Bluetooth and BT has these limits by design

Moondrop golden ages is better because it just costs like $10 more but has a better tws case design and actually has a planar driver. Not sure how this ultrasonic model is put around the same price range lol
For those who, like me, want to get excellent sound quality and low latency for PC games, but do not claim to be a competitive wired IEM standard, it is worth waiting for a purchase decision, because when I bought Golden Ages due to the presence of the LC3 codec, I was unpleasantly surprised by the fact that Windows 11, even the new 24H2 iteration (which supposedly supports LE Audio only from this version), not all headphones "unlock" the LE Audio setting, because Microsoft requires support for the TMAP protocol, which is not present in my Golden Ages or in any other Moondrop headphones (even in Block with bt 5.4 support) there is no support for this protocol, which will not allow you to experience the same ~ 55 ms delay almost like full-fledged gaming headsets at 2.4 GHz =( I wrote to Moondrop support on the official website about all this a couple of days ago, so far I have not received a response.
The mic test was one for the best I heard in a while from tws headset. Wow the sound quality was amazing.
Sony c500?

This is why I always tap on the earbuds during the mic test to show that they are the sound source.
I can almost 100% assure that the mic test is recorded wrong. There is no way bluetooth mics sound that good. And i have them myself.

Always loved the design of the moondrop tws regardless of model
They're so tacky (my opinion don't be mad)
@@specularog524 not mad at all, but somehow I think that's why I like them
Excellent microphone quality, maybe some of the best I've heard you review recently. How is the sound compared to the space travels?
That was the phones mics though not usong the Ultrasonic
How do these compare to th3 MoonDrop Golden Ages?

Nice protective case. Definitely want that for my Space Travel. Anyone know if it fits and sold separately?
Volume wise, how do they compare to the Golden ages?
is it better than apple air pod 2 pro in terms of sound quaity?
Are this better than soundpeats capsule 3 pro+ or earfun Air Pro 4?
In my eyes, it's the LDAC that saves these. Mediocre noise cancelling and no wireless charging is *really* hard to justify att $75 without really good sound.
Btn this and soundpeats capsule 3pro+. I'll take one purely for sound.
Would like to piggy back on this question please
We still need an external Bluetooth DAC right ?
So better than the earfun air pro 4?
no
What app is this? I have Moondrop 2.0 and it looks nothing like this. Doesn't have the gain volume option at all
Can you please talk about how OnePlus buds pro 2 firmware update ruined the sound quality? No one is really talking about it and OnePlus isn't doing anything about it either. A lot of us have complained so much about it and we're yet to get a firmware update to fix it
Hello Sir. How do this stack up against melobuds pro?
Which listening mode are you referring to during the sound test
Club setting which is default
