Love your review on the Daimos figure. Very detailed explanation re: articulation. Although we usually say crotch instead of groin. And Daimos' marial arts style is actually karate not kung-fu like the pilot , Kazuya (Daimos has a karate chop hand included l believe). Well those are my only criticisms. I've been planning to buy one aside from my Mini Action because of FA's arsenal. Hope you have more of these FA videos. They make excellent buyer's guide.
After two years of hesitating whether I should pick him up or not due to his 'boxer' looks, I finally picked him up on a "good price". Daimos FA is the last one I picked up from the FA Series. Didn't expect that I would love this figure at first. But now with all the articulations, I enjoy giving him new poses everyday.
Great review bro! Which one do you recommend to pick up: Daimos FA or Daimos GX43? I have GX31 voltes and GX3 combattler, do you think daimos FA will line up with them well? Thanks! Cheers from indonesia 😁
Thanks you for yet another insightful review. I own vintage versions of those bots as well as their SOCs counterparts. But...the 'Obari' style sculpt they opted for just doesn't feel right. I mean it's got nothing to do with the original anime. But more akin to how those bots would look in a modern reboot of those old series. Had they kept the original lineart with the FA size and articulation (like the old St/DX Popy used to have), maybe the line would've spoken to me. Shame though, I have much love and nostalgia for those bots in their 'original forms' yet those FA versions, with their exaggerated curves and lines (even though die-cast heavy...) just don't do anything for me. 😕.
You nailed it right on the spot. The FA series is indeed a modern take of these vintage robots. The curves are exaggerated but works for those who like to see these bots take a "lean mean fighting machine" look and feel. =)

You pose that figure very well. I may to copy your poses, if I buy one.
Great review Charles! Big fan of this line.......solid builds and closer to Metal Build. BRING ON DANCOUGA!
I am hoping they will do a Dancouga FA. We need one to do those dynamic finisher poses in the anime. =)
@@OptimusPrimeSG that would be awesome.
If they are doing Obari-style designs, then I hope they make a Dangaioh in this FA line.
Great review! Awesome Daimos figure!
Thank you. =)

It would be great if you can get GX-43 but the price is on the high side now. Hopefully Bandai will release a GX-43R in the near future. =)
I still want the one that transform into its tranzer form.
I'm a cheapskate so I hope that they make a model kit version lol. Nice video btw!

It looks so cool, but it could have been more amazing if it can turn into his pranzer truck form.
Good gracious they painted the arms and legs like in the animation color! They messed up voltes V for not painting it white
No trancer mode?
This figure cannot transform.
Omg...my wallet will be suffering
Sadly, can't transform
Waiting for the day for Bandai to reissue the "R" version of the transformable Daimos.
Will not support this line
