I was at Harbor Fright today. Isn't it amazing how you can spend 1/2-1 hour there and only buy a $13 ammo can?

Ichiban Moto There's one in Arlington Heights that is probably the closest one near you. It's a cool store, you'll want to buy everything there, before you come to your senses.
Coolest review ever... I have actually had one of those "prototypes" for a year now and it works flawlessly. I'm glad I got it before I saw the review :D

it does feel creepy, yet slimy right up to the release of the striker .
Would you recommend buying 2 or more of those hightech laser thermal devices considering they give a random temperature readout ? I always like a second opinion of things like what is the exact temperature of things ? with several of these devices I think I would be able to pick one with a reading I could agree with.
and the rest can be used as hand warmers and fire starters

I won a trumpet a few days ago on paulthetrombonist youtube page, but the trumpet broke over the night before drawing so they're sending a trombone instead. .winning this infrared thermometer could be the diagnostic cure for the trumpet, hey were you a firefighter too?

You should of bought thermal grade aluminium temperature sensors, as the heat from your hand doesn't interfere with the reading. I also recommend using small watch batteries and packed with aluminium foil since they are explosion proof.
ill just be glad when someone wins it .... so i don't have to worry about the shed burning down any longer

Hint: clean up mess from leaking battery with plain white vinegar and a cotton swab.The best solution for included batteries is to pack them separately in cellophane. Besides just being inaccurate there are other things that affect the reading of an IR thermometer. The reflectance of the surface matters. Best accuracy is on flat black You will see that cheap guns have no adjustment for the reflectance and are pre set at 0.95. Better guns have an adjustment. The next issue is beam angle Cheap guns are usually 8:1, meaning that the area being monitored spreads out very fast so unless you are right on top of the heat source the gun is looking at a lot more than what you want to measure and will average out the results. Better guns are 12:1 and 22: 1 , etc. Better also gets you a wider temperature range Better gets you guns that read with some consistency from one to the next. I am glad I did not buy the HF gun.I cannot believe that HF is so indifferent to quality that they don't even make sure that guns they send out for review are not AFU Thanks for the video. After hearing you pronounce Fahrenheit and Celsius i have to ask. Are you related to that guy that refers to women's mammaries as BREASTSESES?
