Yet another great video. I’ve had one for years and I use it for my first coffee of the day, then the rest of the day it’s Nespresso. Virtually all online coffee retailers will grind beans for an Aeropress (although I don’t think off the shelf at a supermarket - do NOT be tempted to get coffee ground for an expresso or you may have to work out at the gym beforehand to be able to press the plunger down), but it gives you a greater range of coffee to try (you don’t have to buy a subscription) and some can come through the letterbox without you having to wait in at home for it to be delivered. It takes me approx. 1 min to make the coffee and clean the equipment (there is no need to take the filter paper off when ejecting the ‘puck’). I just fill it up to (2) with boiling water from the Quooker, 40 secs to press the coffee and air through, then top it up with boiling water for an Americano. I cannot rate the Aeropress highly enough, but for such a straightforward piece of kit, there are literally dozens of ways to use it. There is even the annual World Aeropress Championship (and most contestants use it upside down - the Aeropress, not them!).
Thanks for sharing all that information 🙂👍🏼 Appreciate it. Yeah I did see that on another UA-cam video and think they called it the inverted method or something like that. It’s definitely a coffee maker that people who own one seem to be very enthusiastic about. The coffee it makes is nice isn’t it. I’ve made a couple of coffees with it today and have to say it was very quick and easy to use and clean. I haven’t tried it with milk yet but hopefully it’ll be nice 😊 I was wondering what the other numbers on the chamber are there for though 🤔 Will have to look that up.
really good video, I am getting one this friday
Thanks and hope you enjoy using it ☕️😁👍🏼
Definitely recommend seeking out the inverted method.
Yeah I’ll definitely be looking into that 👍🏼
Purchased one of these maybe 7 or 8 years ago but have yet to use it, lol!
Should really dig it out…
Yeah when I said ‘something new’ I was definitely meaning new to me and the channel 😅 They’ve been around for a long while now haven’t they. Was fun to try one. Seem to be popular with younger people too.
I've been using one of these for decades. I recommend that you pour a little water over the filter before adding the coffee. I roast my own & grind it when I want a cup. I got an SS filter so as not to have to buy those paper filters. Best of luck & happy belated Halloween.
un lien pour le filtre ss ? merci
Thanks for sharing… really appreciate the tips 👍🏼
@@A2BProductions I've enjoyed mine for decades. My wife won't drink coffee. I sure enjoy your videos. Keep them coming & thanks.
does it not come along with the funnel, filter holder and tote bag anymore?
hey,like it,outstanding unboxing~ catch ya later! A2b,
Thanks 👍
Ideal for a quick coffee, was it hot enough? I know like me you like a hot coffee! Thanks though never seen one of these before.
I was thinking the same thing re the temperature. Like you my brew has to be nice & hot so I can linger drinking it.
It was fairly hot but I wouldn’t say piping as you do spend a minute or so stirring and plunging before you drink it. If you were adding milk then using a frother that also warms the milk to a good heat would help too. The instructions recommend starting with water at 80 degrees Celsius.
Was just reading one of the comments above and if you were adding boiling water to make an americano or long black perhaps then that would help to make it hotter too ☕️🙂
Yes that’s a good idea! May try this out soon
