Great tutorial as always, i would like to suggest to advance method such like, masking layer, camera complexity like combinations of bg cam and tsuke pan. And more of tsatsuma book that never be explained like, shadow cast, hi color and more. Thank for making more tutorial about anime industry, this so much helpful for young web gen as a freelancers for anime industry!!
you know you grow more if you put more things regarding making of anime full process, and explaining the complicated word in anime industry as you gain experience pls make the tutorials of making of anime from start to end like from how to put cut in anime ,what is story boarding ,how to make layout after storyboard, than keyanimation inbetweenanimation than colouring
may i ask, in anime there is usually a scene where a lip sync is combine with body movement and it usually involve 3 images or more , is there a name for this method? i simply name it a "3 picture motion" but would like to know if theres already a name for it.
It's amazing how much work goes into just this! Is this considered pre-scoring since you're working off the audio first, or is there more nuance to it? It may not be as complex as the mouth flaps as Akira, but it just goes to show that even the most simple moments still require skill, effort and planning.
I hope it will be possible to officially reanimate lip syncings to english or even another langauges in animes for their english dubs or different language dubs
@@DRigg100 well if they can get the frames it just becomes a problem of re timing everything, but I doubt the studio would give out the frames. In the other hand one could extract the frames from the video manually and re time everything but that's a lot of work. Also if you want lip syncing officially then it means the studio needs to do this for every language that officially airs it, it's a difficult issue to coordinate with multiple individual broadcasters and having to find an animating studio to do this for every single language. Easier to just dub it over within the time given it just subtitle it
We're capable of changing lip sync in live action foreign movies to different languages through AI so anime should be able to do the same@@sleepycritical6950
@DongChang My friend and I are working on our own anime. We have been working on the story for quite some time now, and we will soon need to animate. We are wondering if you would be able to assist us in the animation process.
Mr. Chang I have only one problem why does aot mappa style look so crispy and other anime look smooth Please And make video about different art styles😅
Thank you very much for this tutorial! Helpful indeed! 👍👍👍 But as I know the animation is prepared prior to voice acting at Japan. Not always but most often. I can't beleive how it is possible: create the lip sync before a seiyyu talks. 😳 Maybe it is possible only for Japan language? 🤔
My humble request is please make a video on how we can decide which part will be mouth closed and which part will be open , that part is quite confusing , didn't understand how you did it by watching that voice sample on the left-hand side . And if we want to copy the same mouth shape, should we have to create a timeline only for that open mouth, so we can copy ? .
By "dps" you mean "drawings per second" vs. "fps" which is "frames per second", right ? Frame rate doesn't change. It will almost always be 24 frames per second (sometimes it's 30fps, but most hand drawn animation is 24 fps). , but within that 24 frames per second you could have 12 drawings per second (what we call animation "ON 2's") , or 24 drawings per second ("ON 1's") , or 8 drawings per second ("ON 3's") , or 6 drawings per second ("ON 4's") or 4 drawings per second ("ON 6's") . The drawings per second will vary depending on the budget and the requirements of the scene (for example fast action scenes look best ON 1's or at least ON 2's , whereas fast action will strobe and not read very well ON 4's or ON 6's (that's more like a storyboard/animatic at that point, not really animation).
Unless you wanna use janky AI interpolation then your only real hope is to just draw them. The other trick is just to use snappy animation. Move your character in such a way that they snap around so all motion is sudden and completed. There is no "hack" though. You need to learn animation the right way before you go taking shortcuts.
Can't believe all this is free.

damn dong he said you're FRAY, hold dat
When we needed him most, he returned 👏
The "Hi" at the beginning is so satisfying
I need a playlist with all your teachings, Master

well if you have the base, I mean the body, only the mouth is animated. Maybe it's harder when you're trying to time the dialogue and the time sheet.
I hope it will be possible to officially reanimate lip syncings to english or even another langauges in animes for their english dubs or different language dubs
I doubt they will ever do that. Animating isn't easy, it'll take so much time just to change their lip syncing bud.
@@denchan4397 But why?

I learned a lot! Could i ask why are some of the in-betweens not in triangles like that one you marked?
Ayy can you do a video on lighting and colouring pls 🙏
How do American animation departments get the English voices to match the Japanese lip synching? Are the lips redrawn or something?
Impressive UA-cam channel. Thanks for the animation tips! Any Japanese animation books/textbook you would recommend?
My question is why at 8:07 is the key frame A2 also an inbetween reference drawing at the same time? How does that work
i feel like this is way too complicated for that little work
worth itt
We need a „How to animate flying“Tut
I feel demotivated because i don't know how to get my art to that anime feel
Chinese anime should learn about this

How many frames per second does Japanase animations use?
What's the name of the anime you animated?
how can i animate using less dps and smoth what is the best fps tricks and hacks small budget studios use

What program do you use?
This is Clip Studio Paint (Ex)
*LIp Sync, it's not spelled Lip-Synching, It's also spelled lip syncing, not lip synching.
"Promo SM" 😀
the japanese lip synch isnt synch 🙃
i feel bad for all the lipsync animators that has to listen to awful dub
japanese voice actors are great though
@@anythingj5317not the actors. The syncing.
