Good review. And 1000% agree with you with saving some money! I too am trying to cut back on my sneaker spending especially with Nike raising all the retail prices!
Just subbed and stumbled upon your channel. I think some on foot footage or on foot with different pants/shorts, or outfits, would help as well. Some sort of back/side lighting would go a long way. I also think lace swaps will do wonders. since most channels don't take the time to do that sort of thing and people always want to know when extra laces are thrown into the box. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you grow with this and seeing more kicks down the pipeline!
The burnt sunrise dunk was just not it. This whole thing Nike is doing with the all gum bottom is taking away from the shoes. I get that a gum bottom performs better when you skate them but aesthetically, a white midsole and gum outsole would’ve sealed the deal for me. I think it’s a great colorway with a white midsole, the all gum bottom just makes it look like a potato. I’m not a fan of the wheats for this same reason. And the orange label dunks that just realized, ( navy and red) also could’ve done better if they just had a white midsole and gum outsole.
i think you are right! It would have looked better if the midsole was white. I personally am a sucker for a gum bottom, but i also would have liked the white midsole.
Whenever I see stuff like this I just think people can’t coordinate clothes or they’re scared or intimidated that they’d look funny or uncomfortable in their own clothes. To each his own tho I can see it from that point of view too (yours).
