I think playing smite 1 which gives you smoother game play and more variety is more entertaining for viewers, since they're basically the same game I personally don't care if it's not the newer version and I think a lot of other ppl share the same sentiment

Short answer, I don't think creators had to completely abandon smite 1 for smite 2. A mixture of both would have probably been ideal. Though, after seeing what S2 is lacking, I don't mind seeing S1 uploads until S2 catches up.

We’ve missed you so much Masttttt I think we all want Smite content regardless but I’ve seen a lot of success in content creators uploading both Smite 1 and 2, although 2 is getting better, Smite 1 visuals, maps, items and gods are still much more fun so a mix of both is what we need 😭

I remember when you switched to Deadlock I was thinking it was a shame because I wouldn't watch you anymore, but eventually I clicked on one and was like "it's not the game I watch, it's you!". I think you play whatever interests you most. That being said, I got a preference for SMITE 2 :) FineOkay and Inters3ct have said Hi Rez is cooking something for early next year, which based off of a response from one of my earlier comments you've said is probably when they should've released SMITE 2 in the first place lol

Yea a little bit of both works. If you do too much smite 2, I think the lacknof variety will burn you out quick. Mix in some Smite 1 for the better map and deeper god pools to keep it interesting.

They were really cooking and doing some crazy stuff for a bit but it feels like it just kind of stopped. Maybe it's just me but it feels like now more than ever they gotta to wild to keep things fresh, though I also understand they gotta put a lot of focus onto SMITE 2. I dunno, things feel weird to me.

Smite 1 feels better because its more polished and not under constant change. Smite 2 is in a constant state of broken because of the rate at which they are adding content. Also match maker will make you pull your hair out in smite 2 because of the tiny pool.
Personally, I find Smite 1 to be a lot more engaging than Smite 2 at it’s point in development, so I wouldn’t really cry too much about a 3:1 ratio of Smite 1 to Smite 2 for videos
I think smite 1 is better atm. I’ve been doing a lot of smite 2 and while I do have fun, I think finding good matches for videos would be tough. If anything, I’d wait until January because they have a very large set of patches planned.
