The coolest thing about Kanye and his Christianity is that he believes that God walks with him threw his life, God doesn't discriminate, and God is there when you feel the weakest. I've met so many people that use their religion to judge and that's just not holy. I'm not saying that Kanye isn't judgemental and backs it with his religion, I think hes one of the most critical minds of our current history. This song specifically is inclusive and I think Kanye wants everyone to love themselves the way he loves himself. I also think Kanye believes he is his own God and that's why he references himself as Yeezus. Which is why his ego is so big.
Yup I forgot what interview he said this in but he said something along the lines of "if you like kanye west or are a fan of kanye west, you're really a fan of yourself"
@@disallusionment4449 "If you a Kanye fan, you not a fan of me, you a fan of yourself" - when I first heard him say that I was like "Ok cute idea, but that's not how it works tho". And now that I actually got more insights about his music and him as a person in the limelight, I understand. He wants to empower people. His outbursts of "god complex like imagery" may be weird for some who don't understand, but it's that million dollar confidence that got him to his status. It's not about him wanting people to adore him like a God. He just knows his power and is willing to show others the power that they have in themselves. "Who does he think he is? - I just told you who I thought I was: a God!"
