Tin robots were invented in the 1940s and popularized in the 50s/60s also notice that while the robot used in the video is a reproduction , it still uses piston action which was what most of not all of the toy robots ran on.

As someone who is antique toy collector. I collect antique dolls from the 1800s but the Doll in the beginning looks like it mostly came out in 1920s but baby dolls have been around since 1909

I’d put Transformers for the 80’s section. Remarkable how the technology was ahead of its time. It used thinking knowledge on how you can change it from vehicle to robot. And come on, 2 toys in one!!

The coolest part for me was the evolution of giftwrapping, which honestly hadn't crossed my mind until now that it would've evolved a lot in the last century. Great video! 😊

I remember playing with those Playmobil toys at school, and I'm a 90's kid. Same with the Cabbage Patch dolls from the 80's and I used to like the Care Bears too when I was little and Barbie dolls (although I didn't have any of the original ones from 1958-60's). I think the oldest one I had was one of my mom's Skipper dolls from the 70's. But, I don't really remember.

My great grandma was born in the 1910s and had a doll like the first one. She then gave it my grandma as a Christmas present on her 12th birthday. My grandma took it with her and stored it away in her house and forgot about it. My great grandma died at around 1992 I think. Then in 2014 my grandmas sister died and she was going through things trying to find photos of her sister and found the doll.
It was a really nice doll, had a really pretty outfit with a lace dress and ribbons. The hair was a bit tangled but it got cleaned up nice. Honestly, I was too young to really appreciate the history of the doll, nearly 100 years old and I just.. didn’t care about it at all. The doll ended up getting thrown out since I didn’t care about it and my mum probably just thought it was some random toy and I was too old for it (she didn’t know I was gifted the doll since I played with it so little). I still feel bad about it to this day, my grandma doesn’t know what happened to it, maybe she still thinks it’s around the house somewhere, I don’t know. The dolls name was Arabella and it had so much history and memory behind it, I only wished I’d cared about it sooner.
Sad that doll is very valuable not in the price but in the history we are getting less and less of those kinds of dolls
