@@Kai-mg1rz the Allison V1710 along with the Packard merlin are 2 of my favorite engines of all time ,,, i am pleased to say that i actually own an original Allison V1710 ,, i saved it from a salvage yard when I was 18 ,, now at almost 50 i have actually managed to restore this engine to running condition ,,from the paperwork i have found on it , it was a P-38 engine but never used in combat ,,from the wear and tear on the parts in it i was pretty sure it had been used as a tractor pulling engine or had been used for testing of some type because it had a lot of hours ,,, when it finally comes to life after 20 years of work is a priceless feeling ,, the last 11 years since it's first run in 2012 ,, i have run it every 4th of july and also on pearl harbor day which was today , december 7th 2023
