The mask broke but it didnt shatter like seen in this anime. It was still mostly visable. Also, it may have also dug into the ground like it was weighted, which would have been such a lovely foreshadowing.

The Greek pantheon is in quite a bit of trouble. Three of humanity's four wins were against their reps, and Zeus despite winning still took a severe manhandling from Adam. You have to wonder if the rest of the Gods, especially Odin, are keen on letting Zeus continue being the head seat amongst them all.
Jack's intro terrifies me. And he makes a compelling villain argued villain-protagonist due to him making claims that those who call themselves heroes and heroines especially those who use love as a motive are liars and him being born without the ability to feel anything which makes him arguably a sociopath means he's the only one who can see through this hypocrisy and those who call him evil are correct but they themselves are liars who refused to accept what claims to be truth and the fact he admits that he is pure evil and doesn't try to justify it means he is telling the ultimate truth. The Greek pantheon is in quite a bit of trouble. Three of humanity's four wins were against their reps, and Zeus despite winning still took a severe manhandling from Adam. You have to wonder if the rest of the Gods, especially Odin, are keen on letting Zeus continue being the head seat amongst them all.

This is one of the few animes that are actually better in dub than sub for me
Jack's intro terrifies me. And he makes a compelling villain argued villain-protagonist due to him making claims that those who call themselves heroes and heroines especially those who use love as a motive are liars and him being born without the ability to feel anything which makes him arguably a sociopath means he's the only one who can see through this hypocrisy and those who call him evil are correct but they themselves are liars who refused to accept what claims to be truth and the fact he admits that he is pure evil and doesn't try to justify it means he is telling the ultimate truth.
In fact this pisses off most of the deities with the one who he pisses off the most being Aphrodite who claims that if Heracles had to lose to a human in the tournament it should've been to Adam as Adam proved himself to be a noble champion who arguably represented why humanity might deserve a 2nd chance and shouldn't be destroyed and that at the start she was agreeing with most of the deities and was all for wiping out humanity and after Lu Bu's loss was ready to continue siding with her fellow deities but Adam's "after all does a father need a motive to protect his children" speech to Zeus caused her to switch sides to humanity cause she saw that Adam was fighting on the side of humanity not because they deserved it but out of unconditional love the same unconditional love that causes a parent to risk everything even his/her life into protect his/her children from those who would threaten them and as she stated "if humans can be capable of showing that kind of pure love a beautiful untainted love for one another child or spouse then maybe humanity despite scum like you deserves a chance at redemption."
Even though Adam's speech brings her over to humanity's side she still slaps Jack in the face when he insults Adam by calling him "a hypocrite who tried fighting Zeus like a fool and failed because of his idiotic mistake of fighting a battle that wasn't possible to win." and she proceeds to tell the infamous serial killer to not disrespect the memory Adam "the noble father of humanity" who gave his life in defense of his children in her presence and walks off.
I like how Zeus basically said
"Oh, We will get them. Send in another Greek God"
And that god died to lol

Adam was but copying Zeus attack and overusing his ability however it’s overusing that ability that made him die, it was a 50/50 he could win ; if he kept fighting longer without anything going in his eye he would have won but something (blood) got in his eyes making him go blind and finally dying
While on the other hand Jack had a good strategy wich was to conseal his weapon at full view and bullshit the shit out of the gods (even the God of trickery Loki was fooled) by pulling out weapons that are not his divine weapon while he slowly and discreatly turn the whole arena/city of london into a deadly trap using his op glove (wich turn anything it tuch into a divine weapon)
in clear Adams intentions were clear as day it was to simply protect his childrens but he lacked the strategy to do so
While Jack didn’t have Adams passion for humanity (as also shown in his backstory) but he had the strategy to do what Adam was unable to
They are given special powers by the valkyrie while for some reason given some hidden ability by the author. For example, jack can see the emotion of a person by seeing thru his aura
