- Ilbīrī was a famous maliki jurist in Qurtuba (Spain) in the 1000s of the Islamic Hijra calendar. His Ta'iyyah poem is full of gems; the translation does due it justice compared to it's rich arabic; however it has been reviewed and I thought I would share it with the western world who cannot understand the classical arabic.
Probably the best hadith you will ever hear 🤯
Aws bin Aws narrated:
Allah's Messenger said to me: 'Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he take the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer).'"
At-Tirmidhi (496)
Grade: Sahih(Darussalam)
Brother and sisters forgive me for the slight spelling errors....

This was an absolutely amazing poem from Abu Ishaaq Al-Ibīri, truly eloquent. May Allah bless him and be pleased with him, and make him from the people of Jannatul-Firdaus - ameen thuma ameen.

Amazing work! Do you know which verses of Ta-Ha the poet was referring to? I'm not sure but the closest I can find is 131-132
Thats the verse 114 of ta ha....Allah didn't say increase me in wealth or anything..rather he mentioned knowledge.
His city should now be named grana-ta after him

Scary poem😭😥😥😥
Is the part 2 of the poem written by someone else? Or is it an answer to the scholar who wrote part 1?
Why are some words different from the version in the book " متون الطالب العلم "
Zia Sarakaev there’s always more than one version for poems.
DO you know where I can get the text of this poem
Abu Bakr you can type
It will be written about you one day if you write
Im not sure. BaarakAllahu feek
Yeah I also agree with the beginning but not with the end. إن كتمت means "if you hide it".
Will this poem help me stop sin
Are you sure of this translation? "leaves you with time"? Or "looks pleasant at times" ?
who's the one reciting the poem? jazak Allah khair
His name is Badr alTurki
Al andalusie/AlMaghribi.
Qurtuba is now called "Cordoba". Not Granada. (just f.y.i.) Anyways, thank you so much for posting this
It is garnaata (غرناطہ)
The people of south Yemen have the closest language similarities to classic Arabic they have the most concrete Arabic.
No I think it’s probably Syrians

At 11:26 it speaks of a man called Samiri because he had a curse on him apparently, what's the story on this individual and who is he? Was he a sinner? Was he a victim of black magic or Evil eye?
I would be very grateful if anyone could answer these questions of mine, Jazakallahu Khair.
Samiri was from Bani Israeel and was promoting them to worship the golden calf while Musa was gone for the 40 days. When Musa came back, he ordered that Samiri be exiled and isolated forever. And was cursed
Jazakallahu khayr akhi, thank you for clearing that up for me and replying.
Translation is shocking
what do you mean by "shocking"?
