Maybe, but I think £300-400 first month is about average. And is also a decent amount of money to earn tax free these days (even before considering she was a beginner with no prior knowledge). Of course if you weren't working and/or have a family, and therefore had more time, and could learn and implement quicker, and take advantage of more opportunities, then I'm sure £600-800 is very realistic.
I think that's a fair comment, also why it was better to get somebody that hadn't done it before. If I had done it with a fresh set of accounts the results wouldn't have been refelctive/realistic for anyone. Seen your other comment, will note your details for future challenges!
Think quite a few people have missed the fundamental point here. The video is highlighting a process, with which extra income can be achieved and also highlighting the fact that pretty much anyone can do this with a bit of discipline. Whether it's affiliated or not is besides the point, the content is useful, and may ultimately give others the confidence to give matched betting a try. I think there is a good suggestion from one commenter around doing a similar trading based video. I imagine this would be far more time consuming, as would likely involve some 1 to 1 coaching, but would also be extremely popular I imagine. Of course, the difference between matched betting and trading is massive, but would be an interesting watch nonetheless. I personally enjoyed this vid, and I'm sure many newbies to the circuit may find the content useful.
As someone from The Netherlands I'm sad that we don't have that many bookies here. I've started doing matched betting at the beginning of the year and made over 1500Euro with it so far. The 25% odds bonuses are also very nice for this.
If you're already a sports bettor you have already had or got accounts with most bookies so you can no longer get welcome offers so you can't do match betting like this as you have no free bets or such to match. Worse if you do promos or appear to not be a total mug punter sooner or latter all sports books will make you unwelcome by firstly restricting you (taking away) your eligibility for offers meaning you cant get free bets, best odds guaranteed, do money back specials etc, then later they will limit your actual stakes and finally limit you to betting zero on their sports book or close your account calling it a trading decision.
This is a great video for new starters, if you're considering it, defo go for it as you make so much from the off! May seem scary at first, but you have to risk a little to win and then you see results and fall in love with it! Plus sometimes they do deals on the annual membership for the year
Yeah its weird, because it says starting with nothing, but clearly she needs to have something to get started, not to mention the sign up fee to odds monkey.
Hello Caan have you got step-by-step video tutorial of matching betting that i could watch? I have been interested in match-betting for a while but i havent found any decent videos. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I loved the video!
Are you part of the OM team, or is this just an affiliate vid? A month of matched betting would be a great idea for almost everyone, the £1k or so from sign-ups and 1st/2nd reloads is genuinely easy money and hey, how could anyone feel any awkwardness about taking money off those robbing bookies 😅 although seems increasingly tough to squeeze much more beyond that point. With all the affordability checks and loss of ongoing reload offers, the window for making money this way is finally starting to slam shut?
A month is a good period of time to trial it over. In this instance I think with it being so new to Hannah, learning how to do it whilst building up a bank was the real challenge. The first £1,000 is by far the easiest, agreed. What did you think of the new video style? Up for participating in a future challenge maybe? Not part of the team, just affiliated vid as marked. Would only ever promote something I believe in!
@@CaanBerryProTrader Thanks for the response and can't grumble about people making a few quid making people aware of how they can earn themselves some easy money! Agreed, tough to pick up if not naturally strong with numbers or experienced at online gambling so needs at least a month for sure. I like how you also retained the section about Hannah's divergence at the blackjack tables. That's the one clear downside to a non-gambler going into this sort of thing and is good to call out the need for discipline as I'd imagine (sadly) there are more than a few people that have ended up losing money longer term after experiencing the buzz of a few wins earned from +eV offers and wanting to try and recreate that after the offers dry up (casino offers, more than sports, as the latter tends to be a fixed return from an offer bar the occasional BOG or more advanced offers).
Wow this is as fake as a QVC promo video. How the mighty have fallen.. One way street to gubsville after a month to 6 weeks. Yes u can make a solid 1k plus in one month and if you still have any bookmakers left after that maybe 100 a month until you will be gubbed everywhere.
@@ukseverestormchaser I don't get this either, same with all methods that profit from soft bookmakers. Limitations are inevitable if your winning. Would people rather keep their accounts active and lose money consistently?
Were you not interested in Hannah's experience? surely that was useful content? A little surprised by this but will take it on board. I've seen lots of videos on UA-cam with peoples experience of various things and enjoyed them myself. Would never do it for anything I don't fully believe in. Have turned down some crazy offers from casino's etc.
@Caan Berry Pro Trader the issue is that the video hardly touches on Hannahs experience other than a couple "interviews" that are clearly mostly, if not completely, scripted. It feels like watching an extended advert for the site which I'm sure they had a lot of input on. In general I like what you do, this just feels like sneaky advertising however.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, just a shame as the criteria was the TOTAL opposite! It had to be a completely unscripted genuine expereince that she had the results for! All noted, thank you.
You place two bets on the same match from two different sites. One bet to win and one bet to lose. They cancel each other out but you get a sign up bonus for placing the bets.
If you do that bet 100 times is it profitable? Does it cover your risk? If anything I would bet against 1,001. If you are interested in learning, research the exchange market. Cann has some really good videos to help you understand how it works.
@@CaanBerryProTrader you did the £10 pound trading from a small bank which was similar I think it would be very hard for 1 trading vid fits all as different banks and timescales - l think you done a lot of trading vids that show the basics and after that for consistency have to find your own trading style
All the Caan haters should back off. Just watch the 100's of free content vids on this channel to do with sports trading if you don't like it. This video did make me think though. How awsome would it be if you 'Caan' made a similar video challenge (or series of vids) but where you used your knowledge of betfair trading to go from say £300 to a couple of grand (or more) in your account. Starting with smaller stakes, like a beginner would and working your way up compounding your stakes/bank percentage ratio etc as you went. If it was like a series we could follow your progress. There's a similar series on the 'warrior trading' channel that I really enjoyed a few years ago. Just an Idea.
he did something similar to that on here on one of his vids using £10 stakes so realistic to the average trader but hard to be able to copy trades like you would matched betting as you have different bank sizes, will trade on different sports as time available would be different depending on your life circumstances
@@timporter4008 i know what you're saying. I've done the whole 'matched betting' thing and I just found it frustrating. Did make a profit in the end but found it too messy with all the differing amounts in dozens of bookie accounts. The series I watched on 'warrior trading' went on for a couple of months i believe and he ended up going from $500 to a few hundred thou! Really interesting to see the process. Nice to see that if you really know what you're doing and remain focused and disciplined on something, as the warrior trading geezer and Caan do, these life changing skills don't have to remain just a pipe dream.
But I don’t think you can withdraw any money until you have done X amount of bets with the bookmakers and then it is a stifle once you are grubbed as they keep the money then and it is a fight to get it out plus it is pennies on the dollar that you make from this type of betting with the Aussie bookmakers anyway not sure about oddsmonkey or even if Australia can use oddsmonkey and the bookmakers offers

Disagree. Promoting good affiliate offers is fine, and useful, and everybody wins. Promoting something you wouldn't use yourself, or recommend to your friends and family is not.

Only works for people in UK not Africa
What happened to Profit Rush ?
Its still there!
Is for UK only? I am from South América, would i be able to participate in these offers?
No multiple countries do it, probably best to shoot OddsMonkey support that question as I think they have a USA version too.

Any updates on how much Hannah has earned now?
