I wish we had more low level patforms at major termini in London like they have in Liverpool. But I’m satisfied with the underground variety so I’m content.
I think the Southern trains can get to quite a lot of the Southeastern platforms at Victoria from the approach. There are connections at other locations such as Stewarts Lane and Herne Hill. Have a look at Carto Metro online.
I should have added that there is no junction between the main lines at Clapham Junction and none of the junctions between the various other lines in that area are called Clapham Junction.
That's a Southern service. London Midland used to run out of Euston but lost the franchise to West Midlands. Their services to Euston now use the London North Western brand.
Shame that Southeastern aren’t allowed to operate the Class 707 City Beam trains to and from London Victoria. Probably because there’s not enough space for them to use London Victoria. Would like to see the Class 707 at London Victoria.
I take it you mean the positioning of the third rail relative to the running rail. The answer is yes, but there were some modifications required when the 508s were transferred from London.
Excellent video Mr Boogie, never a dull moment at the London termini. Super commentary, well done, 🤓 Stay safe 💙
Nice railway video again Boogies Trains
I like how there are segregated announcements at Victoria. Anne announcing the Southeast trains and Matt announcing the Southern, and Gatwick services
Great video 👍
great video :)

Do track Connections exist across Operators?

Victoria ● Ramsgate via Meopham
Calling at: Bromley south, Longfield, Meopham, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham, Sittingbourne, Teynham, Faversham, Whitstable, Chestfield & Swalcliffe, Herne bay, Birchington-on-sea, Westgate-on-sea, Margate, Broadstairs, Dumton park and Ramsgate

The metro routes out of Victoria are all 8 car max so operating a 5 car unit on those would be counter intuitive.
Is the Merseyside 'third rail gauge' identical to SR?
Seriously, how much different to LIRR here in America?

Not familiar with the LIRR directly but I have used Metro North and NJT around Secaucus and Hoboken.
@@BoogiesTrains No rush with this but , putting those dimensions in an appropriate future video might be cool.
Thanks, brilliant work on all videos.
