Jamie actually recently got into hot water with an entire COUNTRY over his take on one of their cultural dishes. I don't remember what country, but think about that. It's one thing to anger people with your cooking...this man managed to piss of a whole COUNTRY with his 🤣

Jamie Oliver is little more than a T.V cook trying to be as important as Gordon Ramsey an actual chef.
Oh my god yes. Uncle Roger content is perfect reaction material. He’s very funny and everyone can agree when food is crap or poorly made. Please do more reactions to his vids. Absolutely hilarious.
If you are totally unaware, traditionally, you use pork lard for your wok. Though using pork lard is mostly an East Asian thing, the wok hay of pork lard will work for basically any Asian dish. If you want to be extraordinarily fancy, you can use duck lard instead and it'll still be authentic with a rather nicely gamey aroma, though that's kinda expensive. Then to oil the pan, use sesame or soybean oil if you have access to it, Sesame is a very nutty and earthy profile, where soybean has a very mellow nut flavor and aroma, if you don't have that, then peanut oil is the next best thing that's widely available in Western stores. You want a nutty aroma in your oil in Asian cooking. Not fruity olive oil. Imagine using Italian oil to cook Asian dishes. My Italian ancestors are crying with your ancestors Uncle Roger...

I actually gotta advise against using Sriracha, at least the one made by Huy Fong. Not because it's bad, not at all, but because they tried to royally screw over their biggest supplier, got sued for contract violations among other things, and lost, getting stuck with a huge fine and losing that supplier for good. That's why Huy Fong stuff has been hard to find lately, at least where I live. I'd recommend giving some other brands a try, cuz personally, after reading about the nonsense Huy Fong tried to pull I have no interest in giving them any more money.

What Jamie Oliver does can only be called psedo cooking or in liberal terms, it's tr@ns cooking. It looks like cooking, the ingredients are real BUT the cook or "the chef" knows nothing or really ignorant about "cooking" apart from acting like a chef or cook. 😂
