Hailstorm devastates Dripping Springs to Johnson City

A severe hailstorm with hailstones up to five inches in diameter caused extensive damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles in the area from Dripping Springs to Johnson City, Texas, while high winds peeled off parts of the metal roof and lifted water pipes at First Baptist Church in San Marcos, leading to flooding and a disaster declaration by Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra.
